I'm glad you enjoyed it, I usually stick with the sword for the knights, but the guns comes in real handy for the rats

interesting take on a tower defense game, i couldnt get past the 1200, that was a bit intense, but the levels leading up to it were a good challenge, immediately triggered my bloons tower defense infested brain as soon as i realized what the mechanics were

otters for the win, i love those little guys, the art is so cute,

i'm impressed you managed to make a game of this scale in the time frame, the items were really good, i liked the metroid reference in the design of the one room with the item (i dont remember which item was there), im a little dissapointed i couldnt 100% it since 2 of the room triggers send you inside a wall, essentially forcing you to reload, also it seems that crouching doesnt work as intended? the sword collider isnt low enough to actually hit the enemies on the ground when crouching, otherwise it was a wonderful experience, the ending was unexpected, but it leaves me wanting to know more

I love the Zelda vibes with the level design, the duck roast as a death animation is great,  overall a really fun experience, the purple enemies are quite the scare when you first see them coming after you, the art direction is very lovely, I liked the inclusion of the game manual on the page, I was planning to do manual illustrations for my game too but I ran out of time

Had a blast playing, the game is mechanically rich and I really liked being able to use the abilities in creative ways,

I appreciated the cameo from the world's hardest game, I'm sure you intended to use an item to get past those spikes but walking past was really fun too.

Stopwatch for the win!

Thanks for playing! we payed close attention to making sure it follows nes limitations with a few exceptions to add a little polish.

There's a little treating waiting at the end
