Thank you for playing! The game has now been updated and all the bugs should hopefully be fixed. There is now also an in game tutorial to guide you how to play.
Thank you for the feedback! I originally chose to draw the player on top for clarity to ensure they are always visible but agree that this is unnecessary. It has been changed in the full release.
Thanks for reporting the bugs - I'll try to get them fixed once the jam ends. I'll definitely focus more on pacing in future; I was so focused on getting everything finished that I didn't have time for a full playtest until after the submission deadline!
Thank you for playing my game! I'll see about increasing the starting power of the drill to help with the early game after the jam. In future jams though I'll likely focus on making shorter experiences now I see that is more common.
Thank you for the feedback and kind words; it means a lot as I was quite nervous about submitting a game publicly. Sorry to hear the Mac version didn't work. A friend helped my test on Linux but I unfortunately had no way to test Mac. I'll make sure to release an update after the jam ends to hopefully fix it and address the other things you've mentioned.
As this was my first jam not just to submit but to watch and play the other games from I didn't really know what to expect. With hindsight I would have planned on making a shorter game and to make sure I had a working web version. I'm glad you enjoyed it and good luck with your submission! I enjoyed playing it and expect you to do well!
