Theres an itchio game I downloaded sometime in either 2020-2021. I did not have an Itch account when i downloaded it, so im unable to find it in my interaction history.

Ill exhaust most things i remember about it. You play as a boy who lives in a house with his sister. He has black hair, she has white hair. Everything in the game has simple coloring, and i think the boy and his sister are black and white. You have a knife and can roll, and its 2d. Outside your house is an odd world where there are odd creatures, (some are just moving scribbles) that attack you. In fact, all enemies and environments outside your house were illustrated in a chaotic, scribbley way. Somewhere outside your house is a ghost woman who looks like a train conductor. The only dialogue is between you and either your sister or the ghost woman.

I recall seeing a youtube video about an ending of it where the player entered a cave and perhaps it was a boss fight, where finished the game by stabbing two coccoons on either side of the entrance till they both broke. I don't think that was the only ending. This game has extremely little media coverage, and i just recall it being a small itch io project posted some time 2020 or after.

In my memory, the game is called something along the lines of "red star", but from searching for it, this is evidently not it.

I really liked this game, and the path to achieve every ending felt like it made sense, i just wish we could have had more of a back story on Galatea. Having to attack her and her subsequent death seemed fairly tough on Rosetta, so it would have been interesting to know exactly why. Other than a few questions about the host of the well, there was really nothing to frown about. I loved the game's style, the scenes in the true ending felt like they came straight from a movie, and it was overall very fun to play. 9.5/10

rest in peace, meownie. a real one.

why are your games so good🤯 they are scary yet entice you to be involved and have so much replayability to them

a fun game with a unique cast of characters, each given their own faults and flaws.

That was cute, were there multiple endings? I couldn't tell.
