Really like the idea.

I just feel that you need some solution when the player gets trapped because he misses the controls to regain control.

Really cool concept! As you wrote yourself it's less a game and more a toy right now but the concept is really cool!

Nice game! One suggestion would be to make it become harder, I stopped at 100 chickens as there was no reason to continue, as the spawn rate was so slow that I had to wait on an empty field for the next chicken.

All in all you created a well rounded game!
