the Safe Location Selection Sean, is where you select if you go to your Job or the Mall or the Library and so on.
if you are in an unsafe location then the Save Function is Disabled as fare as i know.

yea this game have an quiet Harsh Learning Curve...
but some tips fore companions i have picked up over time.
setting up your Companions to do Ambushes might be more helpful then having them do stuff on there own.
you can also control and direct them whit the "Rallying Trumpet" Skill to try and focus them more on an particular enemy.
Recruiting both the Dog (aggro set by the player by interacting whit the Dog) and the Treasure Hunter (whip guy) can work well if you mainly let them fight and you just stand back mostly just watching at list early game.

and yea Stealth is often the better path until you get more experienced whit the combat system.
(and yes the Companions have an unfortunate hige chance to go in the way of attacks...)
but sometims the best thing to do is to just ask your companions to Wait at the Entrence and clear up stuff yourself first, espesaly if some of your companions are Squisy.
different companions have different attack range and abilities, some better then others, the Treasure hunter's attack is a range of 1-2 tiles in front of him and can sometimes hit at the longest range to the side as well, in an "T" Shape.
Dog jump around a lot and hit fast, unfortunatly that jumping can result in acsidental hiting them...
Orkin Slayer Block whit a shield that also can Bash and have an 1 range Sword slash, and can throw an Towing Knife that have an longer range in a strait line. (he also use Special S-Assult attack's ageist Stamina Depleted Orkin...)
Cecily is fast and aggressive but also Squishy so she is usually the first one to die, and Gray Rat is Slow but tanky so he is often not as much help when enemies swarm but hardily anything can kill him normally, but they again are not alvei's the best choice, but they won't leave you unless you dismiss them.
haven't really tried the Bandit companions so can't really comment on them... (they look like trouble...)
-so knowing how companions attack's will help to set up ambushes you lead enemies to, just make sure you can pas through your companions before they aggro and become inpassable.

also fore Health and Stamina Problems in combat, well you can alvei's carry a Copple of Emergency Potions.
like Red Potions instantly Refill Health, made by 2 Root's fond in the Mountain
and Blue Potions instantly Refill Stamina, made by 2 Dragon Grass fond in the Jungle.

also geting an Range Weapon Early on like the Musket from a settlement called Doom Fortress north of the starting city past the Guard tower infested by Orkin and future past the Crutch, just follow the Roade north mainly to get there.
but the Musket is an Really Powerful but Slow weapon, but it is perfect to use from behind companions most of the time, as long as they stand still like if you set them in Guard Mode to ambush enemies you lure to them.

a bit unsure what you mean by killing your party members?
also if you mean "Gray Rat" and saving his Companion , well it probably require a bit of Luck and Save Scrumming, but you can use the "Throw Rock" Skill to Distract some of the enemies by the "Explosive Mine" Trapped Door and place 2 "Explosive Barrels" down and trigger them whit1 a "Throwen Rock" just avoid hitting the Enemy Directly.
you can also get rid of an Chunk of the Guards by "Throwing Rock's" near the Explosive Mines and trigger them whit an Throwen Rock on the Mine just don't hit the Bandits directly or they will Call reinforcements.
also the Escort Target need to be right by an Exist or Doorway to count to let you leave, so if she is to fare away from the Door you might want to use the "Rallying Trumpet" skill to get your Allies to move closer to you.

a bit late, but it seems like you didn't pick up the lantern near the start of the Dungeon making it harder to see.
but what you need to do is to open the Cell whit the Skeleton and grab a Bone to Jam into one of the Switches so more then one can stay open at the same time when activating the next Switch, don't recall the Proper order of the Top of my head through...

1: how much content is missable according to the Questions Lilac ask you in the beginning of the game, depending on your answer?
2: should we specialize in the different stats or spread them out?
3: have i screwed myself over ending whit a score of:
0 Dominance
0 lust
3 Submissiveness
4 Pasion
4: or is the game meant to be played multiple times whit the stat's in mind?
and if so, way not let us have an option to manually set the stats as well outside of a quiz?
5: any way to easier find the hidden items lying around?
6: can we please get the numpad 0 key fixed so it can both open the menu and cancel out of stuff like in Basic RPG Maker games?
the way it is currently been modified make it a inconvenient to play one handed like we can whit most RPG Maker games...

we used to be able to save any ware, but because of limitation and event's it kind of bugged our the game, so to avoid unnecessary Bug's it got decided you cold only save the game in "Safe" Locations to avoid unnecessary problems.
as fore being Forced into a Diaper Suit at Daily Need's, well personally i have to mess up on purpose to feel like i get forced into anything to be honest...

the Minesweeper Mini game in the office is not hard, especially when you understand that it is minesweeper you play, but you Want to hit the Mines, and have Hi Quality Food at home.
is the Lockpicking event in town on the empty House bugged?
i pick the Lock, but my only reward is Lockpicking Exp it seems.
also it seems like no job at all or the Break into a House is WAY more common options then any other job offer, also only able to work in the Starting Town?
also think the Wilderness cold have use of an Look fore Trouble option or a way to more reliable find Random encounter's, i have problem just finding enemies to Fight to ern Exp...
another problem i have noticed is that when looking on stuff in Shop's we have no real idea of what can be considered Good or Better option other then an vague impression on Price and name, and i have no idea what the "Multi Version" Tag mean's ether, it would be nice to have an way to see the Stat's or effect of what you buy do, other then an Vague description like the Silver ring that say it "A silver ring said to ease the mind." feels like it have something to do whit Magic, but currently i can only see my Damage Range and Armor Strengths wile in combat...
maybe add an Billboard that the MC can approach to select work from an list and something to help search fore random encounters or something.

met the guy in the Road to eastern he said it seemed we ware going the same way, and offered to travel together.
the event played out, and we arrived in "Estern" and the MC tanked the Driver fore the Trip, but there ware no interactive link's to continue from there.

Please reimplement the "Restart" button into your HTML game.
fore various Reasons like wanting to start a new game the only way to currently do this is to Close the Tab and then Restart by finding the File again on your Computer.
but the more Urgent reason to have the Restart button back is that sometimes when you Restart your Web Browser, some HTML Games might not Load Properly if there are many Script's involved, and using the "Restart" button is the Quickest and Easiest way to Flush the Messed up Script's and then loading the Save file, because fore some reason ONLY loading your Game is not Good enof if that happen...
this is an HTML Game Problem Not an Your Game Specific Problem, which is way i am asking if you can Reimplement the Restart Button fore convenience sake.

unfortunaly the online version is unplayable fore me.
whenever i try to walk whit the W.A.S.D. keys the game ether won't respond or it will auto move fore an unspecified amount of time...
so the Game is heavily reliant that you are not affected by Lag in any way to be playable.
same go fore the Dialogue, sometimes it will forward when hitting E.J. other times it won't react at all.
so until this is fixed or an downloadable version exist, i won't really be able to play this game.
especially considering the auto run from lag and being uncontrolable make it hard not to be sent back to the start of the level.
unfortunaly the current build v0.6.3, is Bugged and Broken, so until next bugfix is released, it will be best to wait...Edit: the patch is out.
by Broken i mean that some coding error have made is so that several events "Bleed" over into etch other so the game think you have done stuff you have not and it generally mess up the game in many ways that is hard to describe...
so we unfortunaly have to wait fore the next patch fore an hopefully working game, or play an outdated build that might not be compatible whit the new one when it get released.
according to the Patch notes on TFGamesite probably sometime during Day 3 of the game hopefully at the end of the day.

from what i remember the updates are released about every 2 to 3 mounts, so the nexst one shouldn't be to fare of now, and there last activity ware around January 26 something, so there is no real reason to believe it is scraped at this point.
it used to be once every month, but the Pressure got to much so it got slowed down fore Health Reasons.
i think i remember a Pool of it on there discord, but it seems to have become privated since last i ware on it so i can't check the details anymore...
use and Hold down the "Rally Trumpet" skill to make them Move toward you in the most direct line they possible can.
just watch out fore the Traps on the Flore.
also have heard that if you are Spaced into Priestess, then you can heal them so they move faster, but haven't tested it myself through, a bit indecisive of what class of Weapons/Magic/Holy i want's to play whit...
i know the Police is supposed to act like Racist's in this game, but i simply can't stand that they would use the Wait 48 Hours before you can Fill an Missing Person Report, that is a FICTIONAL ting Movies invented to increase Tension whit the plot.
and if anyone in Real Life try that excuse, well it is simply Dangerous, considering the first 24 to 48 Hours are the MOST important once to find someone again Alive...
so i would have REALY liked if Alice at list tried to argue that point, because People Believing that Piece of Fiction have gotten People killed before...

well as fore the Rest of the Game it Look Really interesting, and i will be looking forward to next Release, and hope we can have many interactions whit the Different Cast members, maybe ask our Potential Cousin Zafira about teaching us about our Cheered Demon History or something, (like about our Body/spirit/magic) i wouldn't be surprised if she as a Demon would know stuff about Alice that other wouldn't know about because they don't want to share all of there secret whit other Races like Humans.
and Dolly seems like she could be a Supportive Gentle Dominant is a Relationship, which is Super Rare to see in games, so i am looking forward to where that might be going.
Jasmime's first impression made me think she ware Deaf when i snuck up on her from behind which Cold have been a interesting plot point whit communication whit Body languish or Cuddles, whit Jasmime being able to Read Lips but having to communicating with Gestures and Hugs, cold have been interesting, so can't say i ware not a bit disappointed when it turned out to just be Earbuds, but i guess it will let us get to know her whit nonmale communication instead.
Lola i am a bit more on the Fence about, wile her Plot Reasoning is understandable, it is still a bit early fore me to entirely know if i like the way it is going whit her yet or not.
and Nurse Helen is a Fox hybrid, who are Omnivores, how does that one play into the Relation ship whit the Carnivores and herbivores dynamic considering the Law about preventing the Herbivores and Carnivores to have relationships whit etch other are they okey and not dangerous to the Herbivores like the Carnivores are, if they are omnivore?

Never update an RPG Maker Game by Overwriting the OLD Version, that will more often then not Result in Bugs and double scripts to fire off, and potentially making bugs that won't exist otherwise...
so unless the Developer or Mod Creator say otherwise whit an Patch, then don't overwrite games in that way in general.
game engines like RPG Maker and Ren'Py are well known to have problem whit overwriting in that way.
