I'll be using Unity and C#. I believe I have the best change to get something finished with Unity. I try to stick to what I know, so that I could concentrate on making the actual game, but my Unity skills are also lacking a bit. 😊

Thanks for the encouragement Rusheel2008! You're correct about the 3rd room. I run out of time and didn't get to make enough levels, and had ideas I didn't get to implement.

I'll be playing games tomorrow, so I'll take a look at your game then!

Thank you Leevi2000! It's true, the game is *very* short at the moment. :) And yes, the 3rd room stairs disappear in the game because I didn't have enough time to make more levels or a proper ending, so it worked "correctly" for you. I'm going to develop the game further and hopefully will release a new version in the future!

Yes, I was hoping I would have had time to make more levels and add enemies for example. Thanks for your feedback Ernostef!

I screwed up with the upload as it didn't include all the required files to run the game. I will probably disqualify myself for adding a link to the working game here, but at least people can play if anyone is interested. I'm not here really to compete, but just to challenge myself and learn new skills.

Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention! I was too busy with downloading at the last minute and just uploaded the exe and not a pkg file that was also needed to run the game. I've added a link to Dropbox for the working game as I can't upload new versions until the GMTK Jam voting period has ended (and  will probably just have broken the rules of the jam by doing that, but it's fine 😊 ). Thanks again for taking the time to let me know!

What a clever idea!

I liked you game a lot! I just wanted to float in the world of abstract and recognizable forms. I like the parallax effect. Very nice idea behind the game also.

Thank you so much! I'm happy that you liked the game. It's so nice that a game can be something very simple and seemingly random, but still be a enjoyable experience.
