Attention all Devs, horror fans and bone heads otherwise, The End of Summer Bone Jam begins today, it's time to shake the dust off those decrepit bones and rattle that noodle inside your cranium!

Make sure the marrow of your game is ethically sourced and please remember to credit the other boneheads that helped you out or worked on your team. Also keep in mind, if you use assets that aren't your own then you must provide the proper credit and be sure you have permission and the rights to use them.

Finally, remember that the point of this jam is to create something new in the given amount of time. There will be prizes for the top 3 voted entries. To maintain a fun and sportsmanlike atmosphere we will be checking and verifying the top entries to ensure that the games were made during the jam and not simply a copy-pasted project or reposted from elsewhere.

Remember to have fun and jam on, I look forward to seeing what you boneheads make! If you have any questions or you're still looking for a team, check out our #bone-jam-general channel on Discord or the thread here: Looking for team members?

Hello!

We wanted to leave the theme mostly loose and open to interpretation as to let your bone and marrow filled imagination run wild, but as previously mentioned the main theme/genre should be horror and if you're still struggling, try something bone-related, there's a reason it's called Bone Jam after all!

Hey all! The Dread X Collection is here! Quick rundown, the game is a collection of 10 short horror games, all created for the collection, in a jam-like format. Each developer had 7 days to create their own "playable teaser." Aside from that, the launcher itself has it's own meta story to piece together. Developers include Airdorf, Scythe Dev Team, Strange Scaffold, and other great indie talents. Also, all the devs were paid for their time upfront and receive equal split of the profits. On top of that, 2/7 of every purchase go to Doctors Without Borders. When we wrote the contract to get the game done, it was right after the Covid outbreak. We felt that whatever we we could contribute to worldwide health would be a good use of our platform.

Hope you all enjoy! https://dreadx.itch.io/dread-x
