Yeah so currently it's set to despawn if you stand on it for 3 seconds and it does have a touch counter in regards to stacking duration to prevent the player from endlessly hopping between two of them. The goal was to encourage the player to use it to their advantage before it breaks, but it is still balanced in a way because flying enemies are more likely to spawn when you're on a platform instead of the ground. Ty for the feedback though and I'll standby to hear more from other people playtesting.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I agree with the points you made. I was already on the verge of nerfing down the difficulty a bit anyway. As for the shrines, they might get a small boost to the positive modifier, but eventually in a longer run you will encounter a lot of those so I wanted to start off conservative. Definitely worth revisiting that balancing again though.
