Hey there! Wanted to say this is so helpful to see outlined. I’m attempting a first pulp game and I’m struggling to make the images in pulp match my designs. I’m gonna try these tips out once my tension headache subsides haha. Btw your game is one of my faves on playdate! I loved the design, story, format. It was  an awesome blend of text adventure and rogue like. Made me think of Princess Bride too. And it’s neat to learn more about the progress you experienced here while you were making it. ^_^

I really enjoyed this. I like that it had an arcade game feel and look. I liked that the challenge level escalated in a balanced way. Overall, very fun!

Really enjoyed this game. I loved the art, color palette, humorous sound effects. It reminded me of Audry 2 in Little Shop of Horrors, which had me leaning into this game with a dark humor point of view. Overall a really fun game!
