I'm assuming this is sneaking before being found. The strategy is to utilise the directional audio to continue moving while crouched and put distance between you and the enemy. DO NOT RUN. You can walk sometimes if there is enough distance between you.

If the enemy hears your footsteps (much louder when running and slightly quieter when walking) he will investigate that area. Sometimes hiding in corners or somewhat hidden areas work.

Apologies for not replying sooner and thank you for playing our game! The game is no longer supported for updates while we work on our main project and other game jams.

We may expand on it in the future and thank you for noting the bug. We may do one hotfix fixing this soon.

No problem! I understand the safety precautions. Enjoy the other games

Honestly really smooth movement, I enjoyed playing it but i hoped for WASD controls, but overall really nice!!

Movement felt nice! I also loved how silly the gun contrasts with the colorful artstyle, very fun game and I'm impressed that it was multiplayer !! Spinning gives you health doesn't mean you'll necessarily win but overall nice concept!

Simple game. Chute shoot is fun but causes lag for me on web browser (could be just a me issue). Not much replay ability but it was a neat experience and I hit the jackpot which was a nice dopamine rush.

You're right that's completely my bad, I will play your game and put in a new comment while deleting this one.

Deceptively more complex than one would think. Over time one learns what direction they should move in to get the gun to point in the right direction. I like it a lot and also love the CRT/old detective movie vibes. Music and polish are done really well and game works well. Theme is on point too.

Only issue is game lags hard on full screen for me, that is probably just a browser or me thing and has nothing to do with the gameplay. This made the game really hard to play though as even zooming in on the browser messed up my FPS.

Great job!

Very nice intense feel to the game with really good music. Love that there's multiple characters. Cool unique gameplay too. Love the dizzy/blur indicator. Only thing is controls are pretty aggressive so carpal tunnel might be an issue but I don't see how this idea could really be implemented otherwise unless using a joystick maybe.

The spin mechanics took awhile to get used to it but it's actually done really well and I like the cooling off aspect of it.

Wrong Game - Left another comment above

Wow, very cool concept and cool art. I really love the game idea and the gameplay. It's simple, addicting and works well. Great game. Taken very seriously too ;)

Very cool idea and very intense, I like the music too. Great for a 7 day game, would be nice to see it expanded on. Maybe some cool abilities to spice things up would be nice like a time slow or a move that can flip your rotation 180 degrees - this could add nice skill expression.  Great use of the theme btw I gave it a 5/5.

Thank you for the lovely feedback :)

I would like to note that the game does  get a LOT faster later on, but the game is repetitive (due to a lack of variety) so you may lose interest before that. By wave 7-10ish the enemies start attacking way faster than what you have in wave 1 and have less of a cooldown between their attacks. This is progressive so it happens over time, increasing each wave. On top of that the wheel gets a lot faster too which makes the game harder and this can be counteracted by perks.

Common perks are purposefully bad/underwhelming to make the other perks more exciting. You can get perks that double anything bonus you got from perks so that 2% become 4% and Epic/Demon perks are really fun with some very unique ones such as replacing a basic attack with a special void attack that has +30% flat crit and is always efficient if used after an elemental attack. The perk rarity order needs to be changed so common perks don't show up as much. IIRC common perks are usually 2% buffs, rare are 5% buffs, epic are 8-12% buffs and Demon are usually 20-30%.

The game does lack variety unfortunately and that is due to the extreme time constraints we had. An official version of this would have much more unique enemies.

I got to wave 22 and was dealing 800 damage on a crit (versus wave 1 dealing 200 damage on crit) so the perks can be quite useful.  Another thing is healing is quite bad it should be a 50% heal because you sacrifice getting a perk.

Thank you so much for playing our game <3

Thank you :) we had a huge vision for more complicated and in-depth mechanics but it was too much to do in a short amount of time and too complicated for the average player without making some sort of good tutorial/natural guide. We originally had the basic wheel attack be a failed attack but we thought the low damage and cooldown was enough punishment especially considering they don't get a parry.

What might be a neat idea is having 1-2 negative effects that can be exchanged for better stuff via perks :)

Played your game and I really enjoyed the style and the visuals, although I was looking for pals with dash ability, I couldn't get them for 20 mins playing, but I found out that the best strategy is to get one with jump then bounce back from the ropes towards the enemy pal, that seemed to work every time. Overall pretty enjoyable game!!

Played your game till the end! I really enjoyed it once I figured it out in the first level, but the rest was really nice, I just wish there was clearer controls because sometimes I want to spin in a certain direction, but when I click, it spins in a different one. Overall really chill game!

Hi! I played your game and I can see the potential of it having more upgrades like faster resting, easier timing when clicking on a wheel, but overall really enjoyed it, I would 100% play this on my phone because so far it's really addicting!

Comment your highest wave!

Thank you! We appreciate the feedback! We actually fixed this in the last 10 minutes of submissions hahahaha. Looking forward to playing your game, would have to be tomorrow as I'm wrecked. Good luck!!

We've left quite a lot of Easter eggs, glad you're having fun finding them all!!
As for adding multiplayer to this project; We've been working on another multiplayer horror project for quite a bit now, it'll be way above this in terms of quality!! Keep an eye out for it and we'll keep you updated :D. So we're not quite sure yet If we are gonna add multiplayer here, this is our first time finishing a game + participating in a game jam, so we're still learning... We may update this to include more randomness -> such as the codes change or different rooms every time you paly, that would really make this replayable and hopefully more fun!

We got you! 100%

LETS GOO!! Glad you found it!! :D

It's been an absolutely Amazing experience getting to know everyone and play their games. We really enjoyed participating in this Jam and would love to do it again anytime <3

No worries, we will learn how to build for mac next time!! and deliver our games to a wider audience <3

Thank you regardless, and good luck!!

AHAHAHA this is so funny, you don't know how much fun we're having while reading your comments, this makes us so happy!!! <333

19 ratings boom! I actually played your game but forgot to rate, my bad!!!

I loved it, we did something similar too !!

Wait that's actually perfect hahaha.

Honestly... it sums up the whole vibe that we were going for.

Thanks a lot!! really glad you liked the atmosphere & the visuals!!! <3

It was honestly so much fun reading this, thank you so so much!! We are very grateful for your kind rating <3

We're really glad the tension landed, because the unsettling feeling of the environment is exactly what we were aiming for.

We wanted to make barrels and gas tanks have physics but we ran out of time :/ so we left them there for visuals and hopefully for the future we'll do much more.

We also ran out of time to polish the under-watery look of the game, but we'll Avsoloutly polish it if we work on this project post-jam!!

Seriously appreciate the detailed feedback and those ratings, it really really means a ton!!!! <3

If you got time then we'd truly appreciate it:

Already played and rated this morning, would love to hear your feedback:

https://itch.io/jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3937913

Not sure why that happens, from the feedback that we got -> very few has had this issue (probably 1 or 2), so it's kinda hard to pinpoint exactly what the issue is, hopefully we find out and fix it so you can try it crash-free.

Anyways thank you & we are glad you liked it!! + Sorry for any inconveniences that might've ruined your experience. <3

Thank you! that's so sweet!!! I truly means a lot.

I would love to hear your feedback once you try the game!

No problem happens with some games, hope you can try it in the future!!

That's 100% fine, we would love to hear your feedback whenever you try it out <3

Love a good tower defense game, one thing... the visuals kind of confused me a little while playing,  but overall really enjoyed my time playing it, and Idk if I'm suppose to have this little money or I have to get good lmao.

Overall this is the only tower defense I played in this jam, and I think it may be one of the best, good job <3
