Hello everyone! We want to share with you our horror game that we made for the Jamsepticeye 2025, we received a ton of feedback during the jam and thought why not share it with everyone here!!

Anoxia is a first-person puzzle horror game where YOU WAKE UP ALONE IN THE DEPTHS

Features

• Explore 3 haunting sections of a decaying underwater base
• Discover notes that reveal fragments of the story
• Two possible endings based on your understanding of “the opportunity” and your knowledge of the story
• Atmospheric visuals, sound design built by two sleep-deprived guys

Controls

• WASD – Move
• Shift – Run
• F – Flashlight
• E – Interact
• LCtrl / C – Crouch

We've left quite a lot of Easter eggs, glad you're having fun finding them all!!
As for adding multiplayer to this project; We've been working on another multiplayer horror project for quite a bit now, it'll be way above this in terms of quality!! Keep an eye out for it and we'll keep you updated :D. So we're not quite sure yet If we are gonna add multiplayer here, this is our first time finishing a game + participating in a game jam, so we're still learning... We may update this to include more randomness -> such as the codes change or different rooms every time you paly, that would really make this replayable and hopefully more fun!

We're really glad the tension landed, because the unsettling feeling of the environment is exactly what we were aiming for.

We wanted to make barrels and gas tanks have physics but we ran out of time :/ so we left them there for visuals and hopefully for the future we'll do much more.

We also ran out of time to polish the under-watery look of the game, but we'll Avsoloutly polish it if we work on this project post-jam!!

Not sure why that happens, from the feedback that we got -> very few has had this issue (probably 1 or 2), so it's kinda hard to pinpoint exactly what the issue is, hopefully we find out and fix it so you can try it crash-free.

Love a good tower defense game, one thing... the visuals kind of confused me a little while playing,  but overall really enjoyed my time playing it, and Idk if I'm suppose to have this little money or I have to get good lmao.

Overall this is the only tower defense I played in this jam, and I think it may be one of the best, good job <3

Really loved the idea of possessing other people to get across, however I encountered a bug where I left the body as it was falling into the spike pit, it made the ghost stuck in the pit and had to restart (not a big deal) + Loved the visuals, sometimes animations broke.
However I can see this turn into a super clever puzzle game, It fits the theme perfectly good job!!

Could benefit from some screenshots, which really makes a difference.

Overall Was Really cool and unique [Especially the mix of 2D and 3D] + I think some parts felt a little unclear, but no big deal --> still was super fun and humorous <3

Atmosphere reminds me of Dead Space which is amazing!

Chases felt intense!!

One thing is I expected more feedback when the gun shoots, or when the aliens die --giving that the game looked fairly polished-- but didn't really feel the impact.

Also I don't see the theme clearly but overall REALLY COOL! Seriously good job!!

Unfortunately, that happens a lot with windows builds, we've encountered this multiple times when trying out other games.
I hope you're able to fix it, because I genuinely think you'd love our game!! If you're not able to fix them, then no pressure at all! We hope you enjoy other games as well <3

What a game! who thought chaining shots would be so fun, also shoot them again = revive is so unique.
Puzzles were so unique and I wish there were more levels, huge work done here!! good job!!!

[Update] Had to check if there was sound ---> there wasn't

The game could benefit from sounds and UI changes, other than that I would love to see you keep expanding on the idea <3

I'm using Windows 10 Home, so idk... I've had this problem with some games, so I don't really know where the issue is from, but just in case... I always tell the dev to check it out, but it was truly amazing game!!

We spend a ton of time polishing the atmosphere and getting that smooth coherent feel, so we're really glad it came through.

Absolutely had a blast, love the use of a simple mechanic "rock, paper, scissors" and turning into a really fun experience, one thing is music and sfx might be a bit loud, adding a slide would make things easier.

There is nothing more to comment on... your game felt crunchy (very good) and well polished.

We tried playing it yesterday it gave us windows security warning and didn't let us download, it's a shame since the game looks so nice.
However we are trying again today, hopefully everything works!!
