Will there be future updates?

To be honest, I have very strong doubts about the origin of the True Wyverians. In the game they say that not even they know their origins, some have abilities that refer to their monsters, others do not. However, what I say is that I do not think that the very first True Wyverians appeared out of nowhere. I do not know if you are familiar with Monster Hunter Stories, the spin-off of the Monster Hunter series, there exist the Raiders, humans who coexist with monsters and who fight alongside them. My theory is that the very first True Wyverians were born through experiments with humans and monsters, combining their cells, disfiguring their bodies and thus giving birth to this new race that we know. "Why would they do that?", you are wondering, well... I think that the scientists who created the first True Wyverians lived in a Raider village and that they had ambitions. They wanted to make humans and monsters closer, both mentally and physically.
What do you think? Do you also have doubts about their origin?
I would like to express my opinion regarding this new update. Spoiler Alert!
We finally got a date with Brando, and it was really sweet in my opinion. After seeing Cedrik with that nice body I expect that in the next Date with him there will be a NSFW scene. I'm also really curious about that silver dragon Camila was involved with, I hope that in the next few days he can be a character we can have Dates with. The plot seems to be progressing well, towards the end it seemed to me that Yarin's sanity was lowering while he was in the elevator and that scene with the demon gave me a really bad feeling.
If I may make a suggestion for the next update, I would like to see some CGs added for the Date with Azorin, especially the scene in his hotel room; then I would like to see dates for the characters who have less of them, so they can catch up with the others, so to speak.
I thank you at Juicy Drake Studios for reading and I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I've just finished playing the latest version of the game and would like to give my thoughts on it. Spoilers will follow, so if you haven't gotten to the end of Day 18, please ignore the following, thanks.
I have to say, in short, I was very shocked. Before Chapter 3 came out, I thought the Hunters would show up and take our Scrivener's love interest hostage or imprisoned, the Admiral seems to be the perfect type of character who wants to be hated by the public, who is corrupt and only interested in money or power. I was very disappointed when the Elder was killed, but I'm not sure if the Admiral was aiming for the Scrivener or the Elder, or maybe the bullet was meant for the Scrivener, but when the Scrivener's love interest it, the bullet ends up on the Elder instead, or maybe the Elder pushes the Scrivener and sacrifices himself. It is also true that if the love interest had not gone out to look for the Mandragora, perhaps the Hunters would not have reached the village, things may have gone differently. However, the fact remains that the death of the Elder also marks the beginning of the change, something necessary to move forward in the story, also because trying to make other choices only gets endings that are not real endings but rather Game Over, so it also makes you understand that the player must make specific choices and that there are no alternatives, if you want to get a real ending.
Anyway, this situation where everyone has to recover from the Elder's death is very similar to something that happened to a friend of mine. Basically, his mother died, but he managed to move on, tried to be happy like she would have wanted, he has his friends to comfort him and he's okay now, or at least he's doing okay. I can't imagine what it's like for someone who has no friends or anyone to comfort him. Our protagonist's love interest can decide not to be alone.
When I saw that the Housekeeper was still crying in the Elder's room I started to think that in the next chapter he might do something evil, since he can't seem to move on. I also imagined that Ridge, in his route, would move into the Elder's house, since it wouldn't make sense to leave it empty and his stay at Joseph's house was only temporary.
Now I would like to move on to some criticism, but please do not think badly and think before you say something.
When I saw that the trial to clear the protagonist's love interest was a series of Ace Attony-style minigames, I found it downright cringe-worthy, especially because the characters were way too theatrical. But then I thought that they did it because both the Monster Hunter series and the Ace Attony series are both from Capcom and maybe some of the developers really like the Ace Attony series.
One thing I didn't like was that on Day 14, due to circumstances, we couldn't see what was happening, during the day the protagonist is "silenced" by Grano and during the night he is given a summary. I would have liked to see the scene in detail.
Another criticism is also about the character sprites. When the protagonist's love interests, in their respective paths, go to the Elder's tomb, only Ridge, Koku and Runan have facial expressions that show that they are mentally broken, while Leo, Jin and Joseph have their usual expressions. I would like to point out that only when we find Runan does he have tears in his eyes, but after that, even if the game says so, said tears in his eyes are no longer there. Lastly, regarding the sprites, the character sprite gallery should be updated.
It's been months since February 19, 2023 and now my priority towards the game has changed. A lot of stuff has been added to the story, subplots, more characters, love interest backgrounds and main character evolutions have been added. At first it seemed like a gay video game that tried to fulfill sexual fantasies about Monster Hunter monsters. The main plot you needed to know is that there was this Scrivener who was assigned to find the village and he finds out that it is inhabited by True Wyverians, aka humanoid looking monsters, that's it. His goal was that, but the player didn't care at all, he preferred to focus on spending his days with the protagonist's six love interests. I'm interested in the story, I'm interested in new characters, new ships that don't necessarily involve the Scrivener, I'm interested in other characters and above all in the evolution that the plot is taking. I'm not the kind of person who immediately ships the first characters he sees, but you will understand that this might not be the kind of erotic video game that gives the usual kind of treat that gives fans to drive them crazy. So please guys, please, don't hate me for this thing, maybe I'm not completely into it as I was before. I remind you that I just wrote this review and so we are in the period in which this game is incomplete. So, let's say that at this moment it might not give me anything, but in reality perhaps later on as the story goes on we will see some changes that maybe don't seem like it but could make sense in the ending. There is no need for you to put "I don't like" now and write in the comments "No, you didn't understand anything!", I understood and I saw it and there is no need for you to tell me, I'll just leave you this thing: Ok, the inventiveness is only from my point of view, but the game is still incomplete.
And that was all I had to say about this third chapter. I am curious to know how the story will continue. I, like many of you, have theories about what will happen and if we want we can talk about them in the comments. Now we just have to wait for the continuation of the story to see how the various paths of our Scrivener will continue.
Thanks for reading, and I'll see you next time.
Good evening, one thing that intrigues me is the development of the characters, although at the same time I am worried about one thing:
I don't like stereotyped characters or stereotypes in general, because in my opinion they are things already seen and that no longer convey anything. Sometimes stereotypes are classifications that come from our minds, we label people with the stereotypes that we have in our heads but then they turn out to be something else.
I want to tell you a story. I knew a friend who didn't have an easy life. She didn't have amazing friends who inspired her every day, no best friends, not to mention a calm or kind family or a boyfriend who doesn't think she's not a total loser. All she had was pain and suffering because of the bullies at her boarding school, who made her suffer for years. Often for her everything hung by a thread, she was very angry, she was hurt and she was afraid and she still struggles with that every day. But she never needed money, things that recall the seven deadly sins didn't change her life. SHE changed the way she saw herself, SHE decided to love herself, to appreciate the world around her and she decided she could change what was wrong. I'm sure that if Joel changed the way he saw himself and his world he would also be able to change what was wrong. Just like my friend does, every time. Joel can fix anything. Maybe some of his love interests aren't interested in this sappy stuff, but if Joel does it, he somehow fixes himself and others. This comes to mind for Joel's growth journey.
I would like it if, in each route, Joel asked his partner to spend the night at his house, or vice versa.
Also from what I read, in D4 of Dylan's route, Dylan will go to Joel's house to try to remove the ring. I wonder if in trying to remove it Dylan will pull Joel towards him, ending up on top of each other and then MMMMMM!! 😏
In short I would like for the bond that Joel has with the various characters in their routes to start to develop in days 4 or 5, maybe with Joel starting to have a real crush on his partner.
Hi! I have several things to say about this game, and there are also some ideas that I hope will be accepted.
Comments:
1. The prologue in my opinion started very well, maybe a bit overrated, but very well;
2. It makes me think that Hunter is not really dead and, looking at the similarities in the sprites, after his corpse was dug up, somehow he came back to life and evolved to become the dragon with the wooden mask and ornaments that resemble a tree;
3. You have a lot of guts with the character of Rosemary, don't touch little girls;
4. It wouldn't surprise me if Zegha and Rugra lost their lives in a fight, but I would expect them to come back to life as demons;
5. I would be sad if any of the dragons, including Ethos, lost their lives, because they are all very cool and handsome;
6. Personally, during the sex scene between Bruce and Corvus, I would have preferred to see the kiss and see Corvus' face better in the GC;
7. During the escape from the green ghosts I would have played this music: https://youtu.be/CVuuppeSeoc?si=-zOF8OnrBGLD4FUr
8. I have to report some bugs that occurred to me after downloading the game. The day after I downloaded the game, I received phone calls from suspected spam and sometimes my phone screen was splashed with red. While I was playing, when notifications arrived from Facebook, the alarms sounded or I connected the earphones, the music no longer started until I restarted the application.
Ideas:
1. In my opinion every character who officially joins Aki's party to return to Hell should have an official page in the Gallery;
2. I saw the anime Demon Slayer before playing this game, so I had this idea since time immemorial, that the protagonists could meet cleaners who are hired to kill all the creatures of Hell, basically exterminators of demons (who do not work for Ethos, but work independently for any buyer). Maybe they could even pretend to be travelers, until they see a demon that they decide to kill, like the Yiga Clan does with Link in Breathe of the Wild.;
3. What do you think about a spell that demons can only learn during the full moon of a leap night? In this case I'm talking about a spell that allows you to control time, that is, being able to slow down time whenever you want and be able to travel through time and alter events. This would unlock an ending where, after Drago and the others return to Hell, Aki, along with Tchort, go back in time to correct all their mistakes, while also saving the lives of Hunter, Rosemary, Bruce, and Corvus;
4. I imagined a story that I will try to summarize in a concise way: While Red and Drago explore a village to stock up on supplies, they encounter a she-wolf who seems to be in difficulty and can barely support herself with a stick. The two decide to help her and discover that she is Aki's mother. She in turn discovers that her son is traveling with them and explains to the two demons how she had abandoned him for fear that her husband would attack him further, but that she would have wanted to continue taking care of Aki. She also says that she currently lives in a homeless shelter in the village and that she would like to reconnect with Aki. Red and Drago go to Aki to explain the situation to him, also telling him that her mother loves him with all her heart. Aki decides to meet her, although with some doubts. As soon as the two meet in the woman's room, Aki's mother compliments her son on how beautiful he has grown up, giving him a loving smile. She also tells him about her experience after abandoning her son. Aki's mother wanted to continue raising him, but fearing that his father would attack him further and also turn against her, she decided to leave the child on the street. The woman continued to live with her husband, while the latter did everything he could to repair the damage they had suffered from the noble house. Eventually her husband died from stress fatigue and she continued to travel in hopes of finding her son, but her efforts fatigued her and she was taken into custody at a residence, where she was treated. In the end the woman regrets how she treated her son, telling him that, despite everything that happened in the past, she always loved him, showing Aki a drawing she had made as a child that she kept and singing him a song, dedicated to Aki during his childhood, playing the guitar. In the end, in the general emotion, Aki forgives her mother by embracing her. The wolf thanks his friends for helping him reconcile with his mother and tells her all the experiences he has had, that he was reborn as a demon's vessel and that he is accompanying his friends to take them back to their home in Hell. His mother wishes him all the luck in the world on his journey and tells him that if he ever needs her, she will be waiting for him at her house. After leaving the residence, Aki thanks his fellow demons again, but explains to them that he has a doubt, namely that now that he has discovered that his mother continues to love him, he doesn't know whether to go to Hell or stay and live with her. This will unlock endings, meaning that after the demons return to Hell, Aki can choose whether to go with them, stay to live with his mother or take her to Hell too to live with him and his demon friends.
I hope you all enjoyed this, thank you and have a good day.
Hi, after finishing the latest update, I decided to write my review (Spoiler Alert)
This update divided into two parts allowed for an evolution of the characters, especially with the addition of their past, and this led me to think that one day they might see their parents again who perhaps are still alive, but missing somewhere in the world. At the end of day 13 you see the character of the route looking for the Mandragora, only to hear something or someone approaching and a splash. This makes me think of a mysterious attacker who could be a wild monster, a hunter, or someone else from the Guild.
Looking at the remaining spaces in the image galleries I think there are 3 CGs missing for each character.
It confuses me that on day 12 the protagonist says that the next day he would have to return to the Guild after two weeks of stay. He was supposed to return to the Guild on Day 14, not Day 13.
I only have one criticism regarding Runan's character: his dialogues are a bit repetitive. Whenever he appears he often says "Hmph" and things like "It's not like I'm thinking of *what he would mean*".
I conclude by asking if in the end there will only be 6 paths available, because I have met characters who have captured my liking and who I would like to have their own path. I'm talking about Leia and Nasher, despite their initial, how shall I put it... complicated ways, they are two kind True Wyverians. Then there is the Elder (of whom no one has deigned to give him a concrete name) with his wisdom and friendliness, and finally Garu, who is aesthetically better than his son.
PS: If I had to name the Elder, the only name I can think of for him is Haoyu.
The fact that the character sprites are mirrored confuses me about their appearance, I'll try to give some examples:
I'm confused about which ear Blake has the earring in and where his scar is located; I don't know which side of Ryan's jacket the bear paw is on, I'm also confused wondering which Russell's horn the ring is on; heck, I don't even know if Clyde has both earrings or just one.
Happy 20th anniversary of Monster Hunter!
I wanted to share an idea I had imagined about the ending of this game. On the last day, the scrivener has to return to the guild for his report on the village, but the guy he has bonded with the most would like to come with him. The protagonist then provides him with a long hooded cloak as a disguise, so that he cannot be noticed, and takes him with him to the city. While the protagonist will show his thesis about the village to his superiors, presenting it as a village of Wyverians, his partner will have to remain hidden until he arrives. I can't think of anything else, so I leave the interpretation of the continuation to you.
I imagined the event that leads Joel and Dylan to confirm their love for each other:
Mark informs Dylan that the food reserved for the faculty is much better and tastier than the food served in the cafeteria. The latter confides the information to Joel and the two, who had noticed that their friends were getting bored of the usual things served, decide to do something crazy together: sneak into the university kitchen after lessons and steal some food, even leaving a fish in the fridge with a note that says: "Your empire of terror will end soon, you ugly bastards." That night, before continuing their explorations in the castle, Joel, Dylan and the others are seen in the camping area, where they enjoy a dinner with food stolen from the kitchen. Joel realized he had eaten too much and, as soon as he felt the need, he went away to a corner to vomit, being joined by Dylan.
Dylan: "Apparently even the princess has dark sides to her..."
Joel: "Yes, it's true. I ate like shit. But I have to admit that the first time I misbehaved it was so much fun that I didn't want to stop!"
Dylan: "The life of a mercenary is made up of ups and downs, you have to be ready for anything and enjoy the joys of life. You taught me this last thing, I thank you."
Joel: "Yes, I admit that I would like to spend more time with you..."
Dylan: “Well, you could give me a nice kiss to confirm you as my business partner.”
Joel: “I told you, I don't know if I'm your type.”
Dylan: “Well, enjoy apartment life with a bed from a sewer.”
Joel: “I know, enjoy the work of violence and blood.”
Dylan: "Definitely."
Joel was overcome by emotion, then put his hands on Dylan's face and kissed him lovingly. The latter was surprised, but then began to enjoy it.
Dylan: "...Wow, you were serious."
Joel: “It's not like I'm very good at hiding the truth.”
Dylan: “Maybe we could do better in that dump of yours.”
Joel: "Sure. But first, let's go back to the others. We have a job to do."
