Thank you for playing. Was the plan to have what is contained in this game only be the combat system of a greater game, but I decided to downscale to what I have now because of the time constraints.  I'll look into the bugs you mentioned, I have fixed a few since, but when playing in the browser some UI elements get messed up if not playing in full-screen. I am planning to add some more meat to this bone. I am glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you for playing and thank you for the feedback. I haven't gotten much chance to playtest the game's balance as I mostly worked on adding new systems and rounding the visuals. I'm planning on taking this game further.

This concept could go as far as a linear puzzle-platformer where your vision is obscured by the mist. I found it very difficult to find the objectives. I had a big fright the first time I died xD. 

I hadn't spent much time in the game, but loved the lore that gets expanded on with each letter. With what you had in this game it could have been improved by having it take place in a smaller area/setting: uncovering the mystery of deaths around the tavern in the woods type thing instead of a whole island. I ended up testing going into the water despite knowing it wouldn't work, but it would have been better if I hadn't been sent to the start. Right click however made me do the sickest dance moves.

This is a great attempt for only your second game. The biggest improvement for the game would be feedback: feedback on when I hit enemies, including sounds, animations, screen shakes, etc. 

The concept is good, but I found that having many mechanics and systems leaves more to be desired for each. I didn't understand that the wisps were supposed to be the threat until I saw that most of my HP was gone. I couldn't throw items.

Appreciated the voice-acting and creating a narrative-driven experience. I only have two gripes - the in-world subtitles detracted from the play experience and when I hit escape to pause it closed the game.

This was the best game from the jam by far. It kept to the theme and had me scared for a good portion of my play experience. Switching between the two game modes confused me and made me second-guess what would happen. However, it is very easy to anticipate the monster's approach. The extreme darkness did assist in elevating the horror mood, but with only a few distinct landmarks, I kept getting lost.

Yo, is it possible to submit late? I saw the deadline as the 19th but didn't properly check the time. I assume our time zones are different since I would have needed to submit at 2 a.m. my time.

Yeah, we realised a bit too late that the win-and-lose conditions are not intuitive.

Addictive game that made me think about my career choice.

Very nice game, struggled to understand the mechanics at first but it's actually rather intuitive.

This would definitely be a better mobile game than a PC game

What is up with this narrator he really has it out for me! I got really close but ended up failing. The game got really choppy when I was in the last area. Overall a great idea and I really like the narrator.

Senor Seagull is the coolest Seagull around. Very cool game that makes you think before picking up bread. I really like the roguelike elements of being able to get upgrades for the next run. What does the chef say when he appears?

Really simple but funny game! I really liked all the names of the characters.

Not saying it's impossible to reach 15k but it feels like it. I really like the art style, it really defines this game. Could definitely see this fit into a larger narrative like a roguelike/lite.

Thank you for the feedback. We weren't sure whether it was necessary to be specific since we didn't want you to lose time trying to figure it out, but now we know. Hope the theme hit home.

Really impressive game. While it feels like there is no real goal it really is fun to see your outcome.

I am baffled by what you guys were able to do in 48 Hours - I couldn't believe it! Some answers were difficult to figure out when playing though. Art is top-notch.

Yo, I'm mainly a writer so I don't know what course to choose. I want to learn how to do some programming/development. I'm currently looking at using Twine, just to do some basic text-based games, but it uses CSS and Javascript. Is there anything anyone would recommend?
