This is p cool and all, but let's all be honest, Nintendo's gonna get their ninjas to eliminate this game before it can ever reach its full potential. I hate thinking this way, but Nintendo is the absolute worst of the worst when it comes to this kinda thing. Seriously, they should just leave fangames alone!
You DO NOT want The Great Lange himself back on the project, the guy's an asshole. (I've had the displeasure of getting into a feud with him on Twitter, all for stating my opinion that SatAM/Archie is PEAK Sonic, and he decided to treat my opinion like COMPLETE DIRT.) I do agree at least that his music should 100% come back, whether he likes it or not.
He's not wrong about the new Sunrise Gate Zone music being inferior. I do disagree with a lot of his other points tho, as this was DEF not a spite fangame. Also, some of the guys working on this version are from the OG Team.
Aight, first off, this is a good game, but MAN IS IT HARD! (I saw that you're planning to add in Difficulty options in the future, which is a good thing.) Also, why is the Powered Up OST not an option? (Especially considering this is basically Powered Up, but if it was more Retro-styled, had some different features, and was MUCH HARDER.) Finally, Controller Button Mapping should maybe be a thing.
The fact that SuperSponge tracks are a part of this OST already makes the music part of this game the GOAT. Warning to anyone who wants to play this tho: Play with lives off for your first playthrough! This game is a challenge! (I'm SO HAPPY that's an option btw.)
The monster designs are good and all, but you don't even get to use em in this demo. Are they gonna be useable in the future? Also, if they are, is it gonna be in either a pokemon-esque style or maybe a persona-esque style?
This is a good game with great music, great combat, great atmosphere, PS1-style graphics (which I LOVE), and great level design. The only nitpicks I have are the lack of autofire and the fact that the gun takes too long to kill anything.
I agree! Now, this is entirely up to you, but you said that you already somewhat altered the original narrative anyway, so maybe you can fill in the plotholes either yourself or with the help of some other people. Although I understand if you don't want to do that.
This is a good game, but I have some questions involving the story. So like what's the deal with Aoi's parents? Are they aware of their daughter's true nature, and if so, why haven't they tried to stop her? Like are they in full support? Did she get her yandereness from one of her parents? Did she kill her parents to get them out of the way? Do her parents just not care? I hope these questions can be answered.
