Excellent voice acting! It made me laugh quite a bit. I have no idea how I escaped, but i managed to do it by pressing a bunch of buttons 😂

Honestly, if I’m not chasing livestock in a bath robe, what am I even doing with my life?
Good Job!

Matt Damon Approves 👍

This reminds me of the Grand Theft Auto 1 and 2 on the original PlayStation.

The mood is really good, but the enemies are pretty tough to kill. Also, I recommend locking the mouse cursor position to the game window. I kept on clicking out of the game by accident.

Not bad! I like the darts minigame. This kinda reminds me of Shenmue or Yakuza in terms of walking around a small town doing tasks.

Some feedback, for the camera, if you are using cinemachine, try the spherical orbital style. I think it will make the camera less disorienting

Thank you! We are hoping this demo will build a solid enough foundation for more worldbuilding and narrative. It can go in all sorts of directions!

Thanks! Designing a scalable game loop was a big part of our thought process when we were designing this game.

And yes, we absolutely plan on continuing it!

Amazing!

Thank you so much for taking the time to download the HD version! It really is the experience we intended, however we are trying to make the Web version more optimized.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write all of this! It is incredibly informative! Glad that you appreciate the experience. We will be taking steps to address all of your points.

Thanks for the solid feedback! We are in the process of implementing some basic objective text to prevent player from being confused.

Thanks so much for playing! It’s funny imagining Perry the Platypus killing people 🤣

Thanks! We worked hard on trying to make it all cohesive.

Thank you. Over time, we hope to have more items you can transform into!

Thank you! We were trying to make the death feel more cartoonish, so that’s why the Wilhelm  Scream was appealing to us!

Yes Please! We are aware of some game breaking bugs, and would love to see if the one you generated is a known issue!

Also, thank you for streaming!

Thank you! We originally developed the game using unity HDRP, though one drawback is that it doesn’t translate efficiently to web builds. We are working on the frame rate, but if you'd like a smoother experience with higher graphical fidelity, you can download and play the HD version from our page.

It took me a bit to figure out how to play. But once i did, it was kinda fun. You definitely need to have synestisia to be good at this game.

Is the bottom UI disappearing intentional? or a bug?

I remember when the first iPhones came out. You could 'jailbreak' them and download unauthorized apps. One of the games I downloaded was a game called Touch Physics. Your game really reminded me of it. Good Job!

This game reminds me Nyan Cat!

This game genuinely made me laugh.

I miss the good old days when Wi-Fi either worked… or you just unplugged the router, plugged it back in, and somehow became an IT wizard.

Now the internet goes down and I’m trapped in a 45-minute psychological boss battle with an AI chatbot named “Skyler” asking if I’ve tried restarting my modem for the 14th time.

Thank you so much! We are glad you liked it!

Thanks for playing! We are experimenting with a draw distance script that will be applied to objects with Mesh renderers. If it is successful in reducing the frame rate, we can share it with you!

The level layout reminds me of Pac-Man, but a little more… satanic.

Having time act as a depleting resource that can be replenished through collectibles is a clever twist on the platformer genre.

One piece of feedback: the camera did not always show the platform I was supposed to jump to next, so i would sometimes have to take a leap of faith and miss. the game could benefit from a slight camera zoom out.

This game was educational to me! I did not know that phone operators worked like this in the 50s. Also, it's a really cool idea for a game mechanic. I would love to see this as a minigame in a AAA historic action game, kinda like Indiana Jones or something like that!

I liked it! The game seems self aware of the fact that platformers have been done so many times, but nevertheless, it still makes a solid attempt at some fun level design. It's a fun little challenge!

The mood of this game seemed to be very promising. Gives me PS1 survival horror vibes.

Unfortunately, I could not seem to figure out how decryption works. I'm not sure if it is bugged or if I am just not getting it. The tutorial was very quick and in pieces.

Also, I think you should try to build for WEB so that more people can play this in the browser.

I love the 2.5D perspective! And the atmosphere of the game is beautiful. Swapping dimensions is a great as well!

FYI - There is a game breaking bug in the first scene where you can get stuck permanently between the heart-shaped box and the books.

Really charming and funny! I love reading the little details on the name cards!

My Wins

  • Finding a collaborator that appreciates games the way that I do. He also fills in for skills I lack and vice versa
  • Establishing the confidence to push myself to the limit of what I know to make the best game possible

Losses

  • I should have developed the game in Unity URP instead of HDRP. Using HDRP limits the amount of people who can play the game on browsers and mobile.

Reminds me of Pokemon Stadium on the N64

Thank you so much for playing!

Feel free to share any other thoughts or feedback!

It's better if you play 2 players locally. I used WASD and my wife used the arrow keys. It was jokes.

Sound effects are also a throwback!

this gave me a chuckle

I love it! It reminds me of Lemmings!

Good Qualities:
- Core mechanic works and it is fun to figure out the right path for each puzzle.
- I love how the game is simple yet fun

Opportunities:
- There is frustration when i try to drag and the line breaks when I feel like it shouldn't be breaking.
- I wish i could undo one move instead of retrying the whole level

Great Execution for the most part
