Really fun concept, I had a blast :) There are some ways to cheese it, especially in the last boss, where if you only have sword 3 cards you kind of can't lose, but of course that depends on luck! I always have trouble coming up with good ideas in game jams so I'm baffled people can come up with such simple yet entertaining ideas!

Great QOL additions to the base concept and a very useful UI/interaction scheme to boot. I play this a lot, so thanks!
The only thing I would change is for the selection box animation to either be continuous or settle on static, the pause on it somehow feels a bit distracting. But this is extremely minor. Otherwise this is the best version out there.

I just used a website and shared the screen. It was quite troublesome tbh. If I were to play again I'd probably just film myself with the deck, much easier!

Hey man, this is a really fun game! I played it over discord with some friends and an online deck of cards, it lasted around 3 hours and was absolutely bizarre. We talked about a cold city with a really high building built in between a zoo and a jail, where all the people had dwarfism and were made of cake... And the city was built on top of a sleeping giant. Very unique, I'd say!

I love how itch.io can be home to such a diverse variety of games. Thank you for an amazing experience!
