Just to counter your comment. About the MC being able to go against the hero, at the beginning of the game, when the MC's identity is revealed to the world after the mall event. and you're going to escape the mainland. Nico kidnaps you, Michael, Alice, and Deryl to H.E.R.O. There is a dead end, where if you reject H.E.R.O's proposal, Nico will teleport you to space and you will die. And you will get a bad ending "You're not the ultimate lifeform just yet".

So, it's stupid for MC to go against H.E.R.O at his current level, H.E.R.O has many options to deal with MC and his friends. But when MC reaches level 5 and awakens the full power of THE EYE, there will probably be a chance for us to go against H.E.R.O and cut ties. I hope so! I was really upset when H.E.R.O's arc came out, and we were forced to join H.E.R.O with no choice, I liked the vibe of MC being a lone wolf.

Man, the game is good! The story is good and well-written, and the story has a concept of eldritch abominations, monsters, etc. A mix of prototype, the darkness and other stuff.

I've been following this game since version update 0.20, which I found by chance on the f95zone.com website. and it has become one of my favorite VNs of all time. If I were to put it on my list of the 10 best V-novels, it would be number 1. I recommend anyone who is still in doubt to play it and give it a chance. You can become an emotionless mass murderer or a hero who only kills enemies!

About the time, it depends on your reading style. If you read really fast or read slowly. Anyway, if you don't want to dedicate part of your time to this masterpiece, it really isn't for you. But go ahead and download the game, play a few hours and see if you can dedicate yourself to seeing what the game has to offer.

yep, I've been following your thread on the f95zone forum for a long time, I just muted it... due to the awful times the game has been going through, where even you stopped responding.

Anyway, so the cycle begins again. I'll keep that bit of optimism that one day I'll be pleasantly surprised by an update, but otherwise I'll keep checking in effectively.

Sorry, I don't want to be the one to be a pain in the ass here! but I know how it is, game development, especially indie development. But what happened with this game here was much more than just a developer delay. From the end of 2020 until the snow event update that happened at the beginning of the year, if I'm not mistaken, it was April Fools' Day. the developer of this game kept making mistakes messing around about the ETA of the game update, leaving a lot of people in the dark. it got to a point on the f95zone forum, that the dev was being accused of being a scammer. and he rarely showed up there, that is, there was no transparency from the dev.

I know that working too much on the game causes burnout, but it's much more serious than that. I think that after what happened, when the dev got burned by me and other fans, the dev learned to be more transparent with his projects. In fact, I know some games and devs who, even though they're just guys making their own games, manage to be more punctual with updates than the HHG dev. No, I don't think so! On the contrary, I strongly disagree with your comment! MC's body has always been strong, it has always shown excellent potential. Look at MC's fight against the monstrous Kenny in the Frat House Massacre arc. MC was able to go toe to toe with the monstrous Kenny even at level one, and with very few trainings! And in the fight against the birb knight "Valravn" in the hero arc. MC was still at level two, and he was able to go toe to toe with Valravn even though he was weakened. I mean, MC's regeneration, is one of the most strong and powerfull things in this game and makes him the most durable in physical combat compared to other superhumans.

The problem here is this forced script, which prevents MC's potential from growing too much, so that the story develops the way it wants. After all, the dev doesn't want an Ella 2 running wild! Let's remember that Ella, level 4, gave trouble to Hero Captains like Clark and Alexis, who were level 5.

We  f2p waited an extra month or when a caped hero leaked the game on f95zone, which was tough, but it happened time in time. It’s completely understandable that personal issues can interfere with work, especially illness, as there’s no set schedule or timeline… especially in something as demanding as game development, especially with complicated health situations.

However, this could be a sign that it might be worth reviewing the development plan and considering changes to the update strategy. Keeping players informed about progress and realistic deadlines can help create expectations that are more in line with reality.

While you may not have the resources or confidence to hire or work with someone else, you may want to consider alternative support options, such as collaborating with other developers on a temporary basis, working on job boards, or even seeking creative partnerships that can help keep the work flowing even during tough times.

First of all, I want to say that your games are very good, and Genex Love is especially remarkable to me. I believe that many fans, like myself, recognize and appreciate your talent. That said, I would like to share a constructive suggestion about the pace of updates.

The problem is that your updates are inconsistent, receiving almost 1 to 2 updates per year! If we receive 3 updates or more, it's a profit!

I know that development can be challenging, especially for someone working alone, but perhaps prioritizing the completion of one project before starting another would help maintain a more consistent flow, making the process less overwhelming.  I've seen countless games abandoned because of this, due to lack of focus, not to mention life's obstacles!

One possibility could be to finish Reboot Love 2 before starting to seriously develop Genex Love 2, after all it only has 2 hours of gameplay, which I assume is in the early stage. Focusing on one project at a time could make the updates more regular and predictable, and stop making more games when your hands are full. which I think would be very pleasing to the community!

If it's feasible, considering the help of a small team could be a great idea to lighten the load and allow you to focus on what matters most: creating unique experiences for your players!
