It is really terrible again; they appear everywhere en multiple a day.

No I promise, I have no knowledge to mess up something deeper than the settings menu allows. For what it's worth: the Mac version.

But like I said: it does not bother me much, it just raised an eyebrow.

Tried it again, and it was still possible:

I like to put a recommendation message here for this game.. I am not a music knowledgable person (even the character Alexis in this game knows more about notes than I do), and normally I ignore games that have seen no updates for longer than a year.

But the weight of the game attracted my curiosity (ten gig!) so I tried it. And no regrets here, the story is captivating, and playing for a few hours for a few days, I think I processes just a tenth or so. So many scenes to stumble upon, so much that tell about the characters, so carefully dosed adult scenes that it feels natural.

I hope you find the time to make this story complete, would be a shame to let this gem unfinished.

May I offer a tiny comment?

In this last opdate, the main character goes on a quest with Failis and Mara, while Aveline and Raine went apart for another job. It felt kind of strange when your party goes into a fight, and still can choose Aveline and Raine as partners.

Not a turnoff, but simply a bitt odd.

I've been looking at that scene at the right of this page, 6th from above, where Aveline is shaking up Raine. I can't remember getting to that scene during play. Is it a missable scene that I unfortunately did not get to, and if so, how can I get there? Thank you in advance.

Because there is no update yet after 0.4.6.

Good thing that I keep the pages of the games I play in my browser favorites. This is another one that does not show in Itch's 'most recent' or 'new and popular'. Nice update, by the way.

Found it, on a Mac the route is a little bit different. Could be, but so far I have left the patch alone. When I'm not sure I'm not gonna mess things up 'under the hood'. When you play a number of games here on Itch, you got used to wait for updates, so that's what I do for now. No problem. But thanks for thinking with us.

But to name something:

similar looking (you mean Edo style old Japanese?): there are, but not on my playlist, sorry.

similar style (you mean kins of sugar coated sweet and bit of adventure?): try Harem Residence from Vendena or My new Island Life from Visq..

Or Isekai (thrown back in history) in general: many choices, I would say for example Isekai Fantasy from Lewd Lore or The Seam from GoodbyeHappiness.

I apologize humbly for my absence of knowledge, but where to drop that cooking-patch? I have on a Mac desktop the choices:

Content->Resources->autorun->game->a whole lot of files and a few more folders.

Or:

Content->Resources->autorun->renpy->a whole lot of more files and few more folders.

Or:

Content->Resources->lib->python3.12->a whole lot of files and more folders.

Probably not:

Content->MacOS->(a few executable files)

The folder somewher else where the safe-files are stored (library->renpy->theseam.

Okay, after many attempts, I got through this. The quality of the cooking result does matter. If you got a result 'better not show this to anyone' but it's a sell's worth of 6, then you cannot bribe the dog with it.

Thanks for replying. Does that meal need to have a certain quality? Because after many attempts I got just a few for a relatively low selling price, and I did not have it anymore at midnight.

I have an issue with the bribe for the dog. I am guessing In need to prepare a meal first in that cooking game before entering Sara's room, or is that a wrong guess? Anyway, even when I got a decent meal for a selling price, (it is a difficult one, 'easy mode' made no difference) it does not show in my inventory, even when I cooked it right before. So I got nothing to bribe with. Or do I need to get dogfood somewhere else?

Wow, stumbled on this reply, and this is an issue I was already having for quite a while. A lot of games have 'disappeared' from my nsfw-overview. Thanks for this tip! (now figure out how to filter out stuf I'm not into, like gay, futanari, inflation, vore, etc)

I had to read your reply a few times, but I have NOT blocked you. The only interaction we had previously you at least tried to look into my problem with that loopstuck thingy. (Further, I was away for the weekend, I have a life outside games).

So many negative comments (even before the new release was published; how?) Just for another sound, my opinion after playing 0.22:  I like it. Everyone here already knows how the story will go, so a new scenery and settings makes it still a refreshing new experience. Only thing I do miss slightly, is that very recognizable opening tune from the old game ...

It's just that train, and the window when you click on that:

Just click on one of the purple 'download' buttons above and follow the instructions from there. Naturally for your device of choice. If you want to know the difference between Mega/Mediafire/Gofile: it's just personal but for large downloads as this I don't choose Mega anymore cause it wants you to make an account an download a Mega-file first. Mediafire is slow, but in my opinion reliable. Gofile don't really know the pro's and con's.

Ah; that's fast! Thank you. But sadly, the poster was the first I touched, got two choices to reply. After that, that window popped up. Now I seem to be stucked in a loop wit the text already mentioned, and "there is a metaphor in there somewhere..." over and over again. The posters does not react anymore.

I'm probably very dumb for this, but stuck in the very first scene in the train: "Like the sunlight on water,  each moment there for a brief dazzling  moment..." Been looking at that scene for something shining, but I see nothing and don't have a clue how to proceed. Anyone have a (subtle, not too obvious) hint?

Stumbled upon this game and gave it a try, and so far liking it. A question: when visiting the dorm rooms for the first time and went out shopping groceries with Alice, the background music stopped half way during that scene. Was that deliberate?

After the scene with Sy has happened, it doesn't get a green mark in her profile. Was there something I needed to do before the bathhouse scene?

Don't know if anyone else got this issue, but with me it's the sound. On the opening / menu screen, it's like normal, but in game it's very soft. Have to slide all the soundbars (music, sound, voices) to the max and even turn the computer speakers up. No real drama though.

No. did not try. I'm not going to mess with things I don't understand, so that leaves exercising more patience until I read a solution here, or Ncrow comes with something. Didn't know though that the download of this game was a problem that should be fixed. I mean, the last version was 'just' 2.15 GB. For example, Lessons in Love is 15,7GB! For me no problems, just takes a couple of minutes to get each new version.

idem here, and if I choose 'ignore' then follows a very empty startscreen of the game and no saves.

It's been a while for me, so I don't remember anymore how to trigger it, but it will appear eventually as a location on the map.

I think I came across an unfortunate crossing of two event lines, from Jina and Katie. (Little spoilers ahead, to explain the situation).

In the Katie-eventline at some point she sends a text message to come to the bathroom immediately. 

But at that same time, the Jina-eventline kicked in and she visited me at my room, and the story evolved in that way further.

Now that Katie event is passed and I cannot seem to recreate it. Or is there a way?

(Other than that I like to compliment the developer, for the well thought story lines, puzzles en events; SoL is still a very entertaining game to play with lots of surprises!)

Quick question: this game status is mentioned as 'released', but in the development log I'm reading about updates. So, is it finished or still being worked on? (both is fine, but 'released' games specially drawn my attention, there are still so few of them)
