I had to read your reply a few times, but I have NOT blocked you. The only interaction we had previously you at least tried to look into my problem with that loopstuck thingy. (Further, I was away for the weekend, I have a life outside games).

So many negative comments (even before the new release was published; how?) Just for another sound, my opinion after playing 0.22: I like it. Everyone here already knows how the story will go, so a new scenery and settings makes it still a refreshing new experience. Only thing I do miss slightly, is that very recognizable opening tune from the old game ...
Just click on one of the purple 'download' buttons above and follow the instructions from there. Naturally for your device of choice. If you want to know the difference between Mega/Mediafire/Gofile: it's just personal but for large downloads as this I don't choose Mega anymore cause it wants you to make an account an download a Mega-file first. Mediafire is slow, but in my opinion reliable. Gofile don't really know the pro's and con's.
Ah; that's fast! Thank you. But sadly, the poster was the first I touched, got two choices to reply. After that, that window popped up. Now I seem to be stucked in a loop wit the text already mentioned, and "there is a metaphor in there somewhere..." over and over again. The posters does not react anymore.
I'm probably very dumb for this, but stuck in the very first scene in the train: "Like the sunlight on water, each moment there for a brief dazzling moment..." Been looking at that scene for something shining, but I see nothing and don't have a clue how to proceed. Anyone have a (subtle, not too obvious) hint?
No. did not try. I'm not going to mess with things I don't understand, so that leaves exercising more patience until I read a solution here, or Ncrow comes with something. Didn't know though that the download of this game was a problem that should be fixed. I mean, the last version was 'just' 2.15 GB. For example, Lessons in Love is 15,7GB! For me no problems, just takes a couple of minutes to get each new version.
I think I came across an unfortunate crossing of two event lines, from Jina and Katie. (Little spoilers ahead, to explain the situation).
In the Katie-eventline at some point she sends a text message to come to the bathroom immediately.
But at that same time, the Jina-eventline kicked in and she visited me at my room, and the story evolved in that way further.
Now that Katie event is passed and I cannot seem to recreate it. Or is there a way?
(Other than that I like to compliment the developer, for the well thought story lines, puzzles en events; SoL is still a very entertaining game to play with lots of surprises!)
Like others, I have a problem finding Karyn's room, even after finishing the main storyline. Don't know if it's related, but when in try to talk to her at the pond, I get a 'hello' but she is invisible (see attachment).
Slightly other thing I encounter: when I go to the quest board, and there are no more quest, I cannot close the quest screen but have to use the 'back' button.
It took me a while but I finally got the update. There seems to be a problem with the whole Itch site? Everything is loading very, very slow or not at all. (and, if you look around other games, those spambots in the comment are getting out of hand, so much). Apologies Deniam, this has nothing to do with you, just blowing off some irritation in general.
Hi all. When downloading version 0.4.4.4, I encountered something odd. It's not really an AH-issue, cause I have seen this before, occasionally/rarely when downloading other games to try. But when I download from the normal link here, I get an application with a grey square icon, and I cannot open that. When in download from the mirror link, I get the game with the girl-icon, and that works fine. Using a Mac, I download the Mac-version of course. Attached is a screenview, where you see the 'greysquare-icon' game already in the trashcan, and the working version in my downloads. What is causing this?
Sadly I cannot open the 0.42 version. But it did something new also: normally the downloads just places themselves as executables in the 'downloads' folder, this version made an extra folder and placed itself in there.(Encountered this a few times before with other games. At those times I just stopped following those and deleted them all together. But if possible, I would like to continue with CrimsonHigh).
Looks like I just had to have just a little more patience; 2 events with Amber followed up close after each other. One she took me to a fancy restaurant, and then we went for a walk in a forest. Relationship is now at max 10, attachment at 28 due to lots of repeating talk about losing keys in the park, breakfast in the kitchen and exercising in the gym :) A talk between Amber and Mia was probably what was needed. But thanks for reacting.
Naturally my opinion is just one in a whole chorus of players, but my 2 cents: I think regular updates are more welcome than any fancy extra's. For a comparison, I play a handful of different games. Just picking one of them, Ripples, a wonderful game about story, characters, artwork, etcetera. But it takes half a year or longer for an update, and after such a long time you (at least, I) have to force myself to get back in the story, who is who and what was she all about? The other example, like Goddesses Whim or Corrupted Kingdoms, they update more or less monthly. Each time it's just a little progress in de storyline, but at least you stay in in the game, remember the characters en what the story is all about. Now, in Harem Residence, there are also a lot of girls, with each their own side paths and story's. To keep them remembering, my true opinion is that regular updates, does not have to be a complete chapter, are important to keep interest in the game. (by the way, good of you to inform of your real life situation, it's kinda easy to forget that the are real life persons behind this games with their own lives and issues. I hope you are going to get through it soon enough)
Apology for a somewhat late reply. Been playing the game further, now past de prologue and in chapter one where Chio has fed me drunk. But in all the ingame weekends (weekdays were regularly skipped automatically also), the events were leading and I got no acces to a computer what so ever. I guess when you have chosen to play 'linear', for now it seems to be a final choice?
forgive me in advance when I've not been paying attention. When starting, you're given the choice to play linear or sandbox, and if memory serves me right you could change that on ... (Friday morning or Saturday morning?) Been crawling all over the settings menu but cannot find this function? (started in linear, but now on Saturday day 7 like to go to sandbox, have earlier saves if that's neccesary) Thanks in advance for any tips..
