Thanks a bunch for playing!! Happy to hear you liked it :p
The way I exported the game may have had something to do with the stutter too :(
Shifting the pitch of my sound effects wasn't working on the web export so I had to make it so that all sounds were being mixed on one thread. Should have seen it coming :/ There wasn't much I could do to fix it because I was running out of time.
I will definitely find a fix for this and apply it after the voting period ends :D

Thank you so much for taking the time to play the game :D Really glad you liked it.
I do agree, I was really rushing it with the ending. I was writing it at 4AM trying to hit the deadline haha. I think it's one of the first things I will change/improve after the voting period.
And you were definitely right about some of the plot points not being seen through to the end. I had a bunch of ideas and I only had time to finish a few :(
I will try my best to provide explanations for these after the voting period and improve the ending :p
Thank you so much for the feedback! The crumpling mechanic definitely could use some tweaking to keep it from feeling tedious, I will look into improving it after the voting period :D
The ending is definitely what I am most displeased with myself. I was writing it in a big rush to not miss the deadline haha. And it's probably the first thing I will improve/change after the voting period.
Thank you very much for playing the game!!! Really appreciate the feedback :D
I really did mess up with the audio haha. Apparently there is this new thing with Godot web exports, where they use samples instead of audio streams. This became an issue for me because that meant I couldn't change the pitch of sounds :(
So I changed the setting to use streams instead of samples. By doing that, all the audio is now being mixed in one thread, hence the lag.
I will try to find a fix for this as soon as the voting period ends :D
Thank you again for the kind words :D
Thank you so much for playing the game, and thanks a whole lot more for the detailed feedback!!!
Extremely glad to hear that you like the game and art style :D
I 100% agree with what you say about the ending. Honestly it is what I am most unsatisfied about the game myself. I was writing that ending at 4AM trying not to miss the deadline (and trying not to fall asleep xD). I think the ending is the first thing I will change/improve after the voting period :p
I totally agree about the music too haha. I'm definitely not well-versed in music theory and it's one of my weakest skills at the moment. But I really really appreciate the feedback since now I know what I can do to improve it :D
Thanks a bunch again for taking the time to play the game and writing this feedback!!!
Fun game, I loved the style! Had a good time playing, a quite challenging game too
I personally found the controls to be a bit unintuitive. Using X and Z to move to those two places on the left was a bit difficult to wrap my head around, but I got it eventually!
Other than that, great work and keep it up!!!

A short searching and story game where you click stuff, crumple stuff, open stuff, and find little secrets that tell a short story, about a missing researcher. Play the game here!
This is a very small game made in 2 days for the Mini Jam #177
- Hand-drawn art-style
- Casual gameplay
- Multiple secrets and hidden items to find
- Each hidden object found reveals a bit about what might have happened
This is my first game focusing more on narrative so please do leave feedback! It would mean a lot!
Hope you enjoy <3
This game was made for the Pirate Software Jam, but I was unable to submit due to my incompetence. It would mean a lot to me if you could check out the game and provide some feedback!

for helping brainstorm ideas.
Hahaha thank you very much for playing! 😄
That's a great idea actually. Ima pitch this game to scientists 😂
Really glad you liked the game! I definitely would love to introduce some new body parts that affect how the creature behaves in different ways. I probably will make an update for the game after the voting period ends 😎👍
Thank you so much for playing!!!😃
The reason for using Shift-Click to place the parts was me not being able to reliably prevent the user from placing the parts under the UI elements. I was running out of time so I had to opt for Shift-Click haha. 😓 I can 100% understand why it can be annoying so I will definitely get to making it possible to place parts with just left clicks after the voting period ends 👍
Again, thanks a bunch for the feedback, really glad you liked it 😊
Thanks a bunch for playing! 😃
I 100% agree that the game lacks a lot of things to do right now and I will definitely work on more body parts that will differently affect how the creature behaves. I was also thinking of a small achievement system to encourage players to try out different things 👍
I am very sorry about the inconvenience caused by that bug, and I think I know what's causing the infinite loop and I'll get to fixing it. About the browser cache though, there aren't any save files so I'm really not sure what's going on there but I will look into it 👍
Thank you very much for playing!!!😄
The experience you described was just what I hoped players would experience when they played the game, so I am very happy to hear that!
A pause button honestly sounds like a great idea and something I definitely should have added in the first place haha 😬. Thanks a bunch for the feedback!
Thank you very very much for playing!!!
And nooo don't tell that about yourself haha! 😃 I can totally understand why the leg could be mistaken for an arrow. I honestly had not considered that before, but now I will thanks to your feedback. It's another thing I can change about the game after the voting period, to make it a better game, so thank you so much for pointing it out.
I will think of and implement a way to indicate that it is a leg 👍Maybe a little prompt, just like the one you get when you press the new creature button 😎
Thank you so much!!! Those words mean a lot to me 😃
Making multiheaded beasts is my favorite part of the game too haha 🤣. I definitely agree about having more body parts to choose from! Having different parts that make the creature behave differently is going to be very interesting.
Thanks again, really appreciate it 😎
Thank you so much for playing!!! 😄
Really glad to hear your experience with game. Having the player try out crazy things was my intension while making the game so I'm really happy it came through. Making creatures with more than one head is my favorite thing to do as well haha. Seeing the different heads fight for the food and battle to go in different directions is fun 🤣
Thanks again for the feedback, really appreciate it!
Thank you so much! That means a lot coming from you, your game was my personal favorite in this game jam! 😃
Really glad you enjoyed my game despite it not being your usual type. I definitely agree there isn't a whole lot to do at the moment. I wish to add more different body parts and different affect how the creature behaves in the future. 👍
I love this game!!! Simple but addicting game loop, couldn't help but play the entire game. This is a great example of not needing a massive game for it to be fun. The sound effects were really nice too. 😁
The only thing I felt lacking was that there is no music.
But other than that, great entry for your first ever jam. Keep up the great work, would love to see what you make in the future! 👍
Love the sound design! This game has a very enticing gameplay too! I found myself playing over and over to get a better score! 😃
Only small problem I had was missing the tadpoles often. It could just be me being absolutely terrible at rhythm games but sometimes I felt that I should have gotten the hit but missed. Maybe a bigger hitbox would help?
Other than that, very solid entry! Had a lot of fun, keep up the good work! 😄
Thank you very much for playing!!! 😄
I definitely should have added a way for the player to adjust the volume of the sound 😓
Auto-rotate is an awesome idea to add too, I can completely understand how having to rotate parts like the legs would become annoying after a while.
Thanks a bunch for the feedback! I will definitely get to adding volume controls and balance out the loudness of the buttons after the voting period ends 👍
Thank you so much for playing!!! 😎
Really glad you like the game. I'll definitely work on fleshing out the game more after the voting period 👍
I honestly was planning to have multiple parts when I started work on the game but towards the end I realized I didn't have enough time 😅
It means a lot that you saw potential for growth. Thanks a bunch 😊
This game has so much charm and style it's awesome! Mysterious lore that was interesting and I totally DID NOT try to skip it and get yelled at. 😃
The controls were my only issue with the game sadly. Using O R K A to move the fishie made it difficult to reach for the other keys (Space, P, ;). Once I got a hang of it, it become quite fun though 👍
Other than that, it's an awesome game. Keep up the good work!
