15-20$ could be a price when the game is finished with tons of features. It shouldn't be less than 8$ because then its to cheap, and to put a game up on steam for 100$ then also to upgrade the game engine and servers would cost a lot of money, so they need to earn a bit.

After I checked for more ideas I saw that some people posted some of the ideas I came up with myself before I did, so technically they posted the idea first but I was writing it down before they posted it. In addition, I went more in detail about certain ideas which most of people didn't do, from what I've seen. For example, Underwater adventure, character stats, EXP system, game settings and environment.

COLLECTED IDEAS + MY IDEAS

NOTE: All of these ideas are not mine. About 60% is what i collected from reading tons of ideas on the "Suggestions forum". I've only made this thread for people to see all the ideas that are currently talked about and to have everything in one big thread which makes it much cleaner.

GAME PRICE SUGGESTION: 15 - 20$ When it's finished ( i suggest uploading the game on steam for more people to find ). But it shouldn't be less than 8$.

INTRO: Maybe like ARK, you wake up looking at the sky, you get up and look around you and the only thing you see is a small raft and a shark.

============================================================================

Game system:

1. More resolutions:

  • Good for weaker computers.

2. More system requirements:

  • Suited for all operating system.

3. More settings:

  • Sensitivity.
  • Brightness.
  • Motion Blur.
  • Keybindings.
  • Graphics (in game instead of on start).
  • Inverted mouse. ===== NEW =====

4. Controller support:

  • Easy relaxing on whilst using the controller.

5. Difficulty:

  • Easy - slow hunger/thirst drain, more health.
  • Medium - balanced hunger/thirst drain, decent amount of health.
  • Hard - fast hunger/thirst drain, low health.
  • Creative - flight, structures / items don't require resources, no natural disasters, no sharks, infinite health.

6. Environment:

  • Day / Night cycle - 15 minute each, that means one day is 30min.
  • Seasoning:

* Winter - very cold, hunger drain increased, lots of snow, need fire to stay warm ( fire torch ).

* Spring - Food grows faster, more often bird attacks.

* Summer - very hot, thirst drain increased, less shark attacks ( the sharks are on vacation ).

* autumn - food grows slower, lots of rain.

  • Thunder - during rain, rarely strikes a random structure and sets it on fire. Fire spread can be toggled in world options. Water is used to extinguish the fire.

7. Character customization:

  • Armor:

* Thatch armor - reduced freezing.

* Wooden armor - balanced between thatch and metal armor.

* Metal armor - less damaged from enemies and fall damage.

  • EXP system:

* Gain EXP from farming, collecting, killing enemies and building structures.

* When leveling up, you gain points which can be used to upgrade player stats and learn new stuff to craft.

  • EXP upgrades:

* Stamina increase - Stamina goes down by running, attacking, cutting trees or other exhausting activities. Stamina goes back

up when resting in a bed / on a chair or by drinking water.

* Health increase.

* Hunger / Thirst capacity increase.

* Inventory size increase.

* Movement speed increase.

* Weather resistance increase.

* Attack speed increase.

  • Discover new enemies and food options - more fish.
  • Oxygen bar indicating how much oxygen you have left whilst being underwater.
  • Find diving gear parts scattered around the sea to craft the diving suit, air canister and rebreather.
  • Sharks attacks when they are nearby instead of when you have contact with water - more sharks spread out instead of just 1 at a time.
  • Find oil to use as fuel for Food / Water cooking pot - wood and thatch can also be used as fuel. No more infinite burning Food / Water cooking pots.
  • Slowly freezing to death when going to deep into the sea without diving gear.
  • Find blueprints for crafting recipes scattered around - cannot be learned by using EXP points.

10. Small islands:

  • Find resources.
  • More birds arounds.
  • CANNOT build on - building on the island ruins the concept of surviving on a raft.

11. Maps ===== NEW =====

  • Default map - no change.
  • Arctic - The Winter lasts longer, is colder, hunger goes down faster and resources move slower in the water.
  • Tropical - The Summer lasts longer, is warmer, thirst goes down faster and more sharks are active.
  • Coral Reef - The spring lasts longer, bigger sharks which will spawn deeper in the ocean and avoid shallow areas and you can harvest coral for new kinds of items.

Thread updates:

1. Recently added stuff:

  • MAPS - listed as number 11 under "Game system".
  • INVERTED SETTING - listed as number 3 under "Game system"

2. Recently edited stuff:

  • RECALCULATED TOTAL % OF WHAT IDEAS I HAD FROM 60% TO 40% - some ideas were already posted, but I went more in detail about them and the more ideas I find on this forums the less total % I will own of this thread. Thats unless I come up with stuff as well.
  • EDITED THE GAME PRICE SUGGESTION - added that it should be 15-20$ when its finished rather than 15-20$ directly. Also that the game shouldn't be less than 8$.
