Awesome! I’m very hyped!

I haven't played since V2.4, figured I'd fire it up again to try V.5. What an absolutely amazing difference, the game feels familiar yet has come so far, and every change is for the better!
I love both new characters and all of the new art, and the puzzles remain fresh and interesting. I just tossed you a few bucks on Ko-Fi, I know artist commissions aren't cheap. I can't wait to see how this project continues to evolve! As it stands it's already amongst the very best BE games ever made.
The amount of grinding needed for this new update is truly ridiculous. The game always had a grindy start but, across my now seven play-through of the beginning, I've found a sequence that gets me growth potions within 30 minutes or so. Not an insignificant amount of time to see growth in a growth game but not the worst so whatever.
But permanent growth requires each potion, of each type, to be taken 10 times each, PER LEVEL! So across four potions (if futa is enabled), I need to make and personally consume ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY total potions to max out my stats. That will take actual hours of clicking through the same sequence of repetitive prompts and clunky navigation over and over again. I'm absolutely not doing that.
Maybe the issue will be mostly alleviated if we ever get "major" growth potions added to the game, that will presumably raise growth levels much faster, but right now this system is completely bonkers. There are so many ways this can be addressed, but right now it's just shipped in this awful state.
I was planning to donate more money to this project in recognition of the progress it has made since V0.1, but this version is a mess and I'll be holding off until we get something actually playable.
Either the grind needs to be addressed or the UI needs a major overhaul to make potion crafting not require so many separate interactions between travel, ingredient buying and selling, recipe checking, crafting itself, and taking the potions.
This game does a great job at being sexy, but right now, it's really bad at being a game.
It’s been a while since I played the game end-to-end but I feel like there was already a lot of content, it just was missing some bug fixes.
Personally, I think you should spent a bit of time patching the game and fixing bugs without changing the content much, then focus on a remake or new title, per options 2 or 3.
I like the idea of the game kind of being “locked” as it exists now so you always remember what your first project looked like, and focus on a fresh start for the future.
I love that the Take Advantage route gives us a choice of MC gender. I wasn't expecting that from this game but love having the choice, especially given the subject matter in that route. I haven't seen this shouted out much but thanks a ton for doing it!
Question about the Orchid, is it possible to have a path where we don't corrupt it? even if that path is pretty much just leaving the contest as-is with repeatable visits. I ask because currently it is possible to play the game making only "good" decisions the whole way through EXCEPT for the Orchid, where to advance content we must make an "evil" choice. True that one can just ignore the prompt to manipulate it, but I like having a clear quest log 😁
Fun concept, worth a play for sure but definitely not a lot of replay value right now. I'd love to see more variety of looks, ways to influence the changes, or just generally more ways to control final look.
There's definitely potential in the concept for stuff like that. For example, bumping into a guy could reverse the transformation, bumping into more feminine women gives a more substantial feminization effect, and bumping into more average women gives a neutral or slow TF. Another idea is to have the dialogue choice in the intro have an effect on what kind of woman we become, or at what speed (more rude responses lead to faster/more drastic feminization, etc.)
I think this concept has the potential to be fleshed out into a full-fledged title, but in the current state it's just a fun concept demo.
Sorry, quick note because this was bugging me and it's going to be weeks before I finish my 100% run. At The Sweet Spot, I picked hourglass for Leah, breasts for Tracy, and height for Natasha. For Tracy and Natasha, both were aware of the sudden change, reacted to it, and then acknowledged that they suddenly changed multiple times in dialogue. For Leah, she doesn't react to the change and and then in dialogue seems to imply that she's been working on the weight loss over time and this was just a natural result.
Unless there's some plot stuff that hasn't been revealed yet, this seems like an odd discrepancy...
I understand that there are issues with payment processors at the moment, but are there any plans to make newer versions of this game and your other games available to download for a one-time fee? I have no problems paying for premium content like this, but I don't use subscription-model services like Patreon and SubscribeStar for personal reasons.
Before diving into the new update (since it's been a year), I wanted to re-familiarize myself with the source material so I watched Taken again before playing this 😛
I forgot how many lines from the intro are direct quotes from the film. I will eternally find it hilarious that probably my favorite adult game of all time starts as Taken fanfic. That said, the new version has absolutely blown me away in terms of scope and quality, and Natasha might just be my new waifu. I'll post some detailed thoughts after I 100% the current version, but just wanted to drop a line to say that this was worth every second of the wait, thanks for making such an amazing game!
I've been following this game basically since the demo, but have been waiting for a "final" version before diving in. I know nothing is ever fully done but I got a bit confused by V1.0 being titled as "unstable" and then all the subsequent patches being titled as devlogs or mods. I also see that some of those patches are Windows-only, at least on Itch (I'm a Mac user).
Are there plans for a V1.1 or some kind of definitive post-launch patch to really put the game in a "finished" state, with parity across OS platforms?
Or am I just misunderstanding things and it's basically read to play now?
That's what I did. I downloaded V2.1 and the 3.1 and 4.0 updates. I extract 2.1 into a folder, extract 3.1 and copy the contents into the 2.1 folder, overwriting all, then extract the 4.0 into the same folder and overwrite all. The game splash screen says it's version 4 but when I play it I get an end of content screen after the hair salon. I'm not sure what I'm missing...
I'm not being able to get the updated versions to work. The Mac version won't run at all. I switched to Windows and noticed the new versions don't have executables, so I copied their contents into the 2.1 version. The splash screen now shows version 4, but the game won't progress past the salon. Can you please provide some instructions on how to use the updates?
