You mean the trespasser event? It's not really tied to the Outskirts, it can be triggered anywhere.
All you have to do is keep the bar as close to the limit as you can, without letting it overflow. Each time you press the action button, the bar decreases along with your stamina, if you run out of stamina you can't manipulate the bar anymore. If you let the bar overflow 3(?) times, you lose.
Be aware that Stamina Regeneration is a sub-stat derived from AGI, so if you're having trouble with stamina in this event, your AGI is probably lower than it should be

Refreshing the Queen's reward and any other day-related method is actually intended, whenever the player wins the current challenge, a sleep method is called instead of just being sent back to the camp. I'll double check it as the day counter should progress as usual
Strategies may vary, but I personally don't like spending money on the church unless I have lots of money to spare.
You should focus on getting stronger instead of doing damage control. Try crafting equipments, buying the backpack, potions or maps(which is an investment on exp and gold)
An easy starter strategy is to pick the Alchemist trait and drink every potion you see, since they're basically free stats this way.
There are two save data locations, you might need to copy/paste both
The first one is in the main game folder in the game > saves folder.
The second one is in your AppData: On Windows, press WindowsKey + R and type %appdata%, inside the Renpy folder you will find the HeroCorruption2-1648729160 folder, where the persistent variables are saved, copy and paste it to an exactly location on your new pc and things should work
Nope, the Facility's main purpose is to gather loot and find new scenes, but having a big boss for the player to beat is an awesome idea
That note is just a reference to one of HC2 bosses, Dannie & Debbie. If you keep investigating that room you will find a legendary recipe for an exclusive accessory tho
This one is pretty easy but I do agree that the achievement need a better description.
-Whenever your hero gets defeated in a tower battle by an enemy that does not have a Bad Ending, he gets 'lost' in the tower. To unlock the achievement you need to lose to an enemy after the 50th floor
-About the facility, it really depends on which puzzle you're referring to, but keep in mind that if there is no gray square on the minimap, that room is not implemented in-game
This one is quite hard actually, you have to wear the "Fine Shirt" acessory while doing a side-job.
Fine Shirt is a rare loot from Melissa, you can find her after doing a couple of jobs in the Tavern. I recommend you to have the Lucky trait to increase your chances of getting the Fine Shirt recipe

About the locked room, you can eavesdrop a couple of girls talking about someone leaving the staff room opened at night, so all you have to do is explore the dungeon after 18:00
I had a patron with a similar crash, things worked out after switching the renderer: Press Alt+G and select one of the renderer options, restart the game and try again, if that doesn't work, try the other one. If it still doesn't work, let me know and I'll try to fix it via coding

Sorry, but there are no plans to release an offline version for Hero Corruption 1. In fact, one of the main reasons why I started working on HC2 is precisely due to it being a standalone game, without the need for a host

I'm almost done playtesting the next version of HC2 and it should be available Saturday. Also, perhaps you'll be happy to know that the development of Hero Corruption 1, despite having slowed down, has not been interrupted. In fact, the next update should be available this Monday
Similar to the downloadable version: Achievements, fame and perks are saved between runs and gameplay sessions, you should also be able to close the game mid-run and come back later, HC2 automatically saves after every player action.
If your game is not saving correctly please let me know as this is probably a bug. But first, make sure you're not using incognito mode or any other stuff that might mess with or clear your browser's data.
There are also plans to implement a manual save in easy mode, but unfortunately I don't have a release date for that yet.

I definitely agree with you, right now the game is too hard, but as more enemies, areas and mechanics are added the game will get easier.
I also like to further decrease the enemies' health in "Easy" mode, so that people who are not fans of a challenge can also enjoy the game.
As for Resistant Corruption/Addiction, keep in mind that both attributes stack, you can try the resistance-focused run and have reasonably good results, as long as you successfully pass the Addiction Checks and know how to distribute the remaining points.
It is with great pleasure that I announce the first version of Hero Corruption 2. It took several months of learning, research and work for this version to finally be released, many thanks to all who supported the project and offered your help.
First let's deal with the elephant in the room: This version is fully playable but far from optimized, especially the UI of some shops which can be unintuitive or messy. Please be patient about this. The idea was to release the first playable version so that I could collect feedback from all of you.
With that out of the way, let's get to the fun part: First of all, you can access the Main Menu at any time by pressing the ESC key. In this menu there are important information such as Corruption level, Addictions, Enemies page, Hero Level and Attributes Yep, your Hero now has a Level, the only way to gain experience is by defeating enemies, for now. Every time you level up you can use the awarded Points to improve your Attributes, all you have to do is click the "Attributes" button at the Main Menu. Each point spent on a specific Attribute increases a sub-attribute (Maxim. Lust, Stamina Regen., etc.), but also increases the cost of the primary Attribute Keep in mind that you can only improve your Attributes while you are in Base. Leveling up is not the only way to accumulate points, you can also acquire them by purchasing Perks in your Skill Treeevery time you start a new Run. The currency used to buy Perks is Fame, which can only be earned in completed past Runs.
The encounters also had some changes, from now on you can use your own HP to get rid of "Addiction Checks", the option to "Struggle" will only be available if you have enough HP for it, so maybe it's time for you to start giving some love to your Hit Points too. You can still use "Resist" if you want to conserve your HP or are feeling safe with the odds. Lastly, you cannot "Struggle" in all checks, especially Bad Endings triggers.

Some powerful enemies can also make your Attributes drop, if this happens the cost to upgrade them will not decrease, so try to avoid this as much as possible.
Potions no longer increase Max. Lust and Max. HP, instead they increase the related primary Attribute (INT and VIT, respectively). You can still find them in the wild, but their price in the Shop is now related to how many days have passed in-game Speaking of the City, <strong class="text-strong" <the="" tavern="" is="" closed="" for="" cleaning<="" strong="">. It will open again after some time, so no need to panic.
About the game itself: There are four versions available: Windows, Linux, Mac and Android</strong>. Saves do carry over between new versions without an issue. But please refrain from grinding in advance, this is the first version and a lot can change.
Most PCs should run the game without any problem, but some older machines may run into issues, here are the basic requirements according to the engine developer: "(...)A user's computer have OpenGL 2, DirectX 9, OpenGL ES 2, or WebGL to run Ren'Py. The model-based renderer requires OpenGL ES 3 or WebGL 2. Ren'Py no longer runs on Windows XP ." Also worth mentioning if you go to the settings and check "Skip Transitions" the gameplay will be much smoother.
Finally, This might make some of you happy and others not so much: GAME IS HARD Even if you buy all the Perks, the Deep Forest boss won't be easy, the difficulty will be adjusted over time, just like HC1
