Oh dear! No, no idea. Can you send me your player log? It'll be in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Dim Bulb Games\Museum of Mechanics. You can send it to johnnemann at dimbulbgames dot com if you like.

I'll take a look and make sure it's working as intended. You're right, in the game you can rotate 360 degrees, at least if you're using the mouse! I must have missed that. However, I think the lock is always a static, unchanging puzzle with the same shape that you need to match.
In the Museum I decided it would be fun to make a more systemic, randomizing lock, although if it's not working correctly that may not be the right approach :-)
I'll double-check (I played it for this) but I don't think that's the case. Anyway, the games are not meant to be faithful recreations of the original, but just to give an idea of the mechanic.
When you say you weren't able to get it to work, though, what do you mean? You weren't able to pick the lock? Or the game didn't load? Or something else?
Hi folks! Thanks for joining the jam. I opened this topic so that people could have a place to discuss things/ask questions/maybe share inspiration and which angle you're pursuing. I hope everyone has fun with this!
