Thank you so much for playing! Yes, the rest of the endings are a little obscure to get - I didn’t have enough time to implement hints as to where to go. You are supposed to defeat the mutant bosses in all five areas, plus talk to everyone until their dialogue is exhausted. Nevertheless, I’m glad to see you enjoyed our game so much!

Thank you for playing! Our intended way to discard undesirable cards was to merge them into other cards, but I do understand that this gets tougher the later you are in the game. This is definitely something we should’ve thought about more. Good point!

Thank you for playing!

Thank you! Others have mentioned that the learning curve is a bit steep, yeah.

Thank you for playing! Yes, the card movements and UI in general are a little simplistic; it could be argued that we should’ve spent more time on polish than on adding content. Nevertheless, I appreciate the feedback a lot!

Thank you for playing.

A bit funny to see another turn-based combat mutation gimmick other than my own! This game was honestly really fun; short and sweet, and the dialogue cracked me up more than a couple of times. I highly recommend!

Very, very fun and unique concept. As many others have already said, the aiming is rough to say the least, but the graphics and idea were great! I really enjoyed my time with this game!

Thank you so much for playing - and huge props for getting one of the later endings!

Thank you for playing!

For a beginner project, this is actually quite impressive! A metroidvania is a great undertaking. The art is impressive, and I was certainly interested in the story. The gameplay, I have some gripes with, but it’s nothing that can’t be tuned. Great work, guys!

A classic Vampire Survivors-like game, something I very much adore! I think the gameplay loop here is a little repetitive but the game is short and sweet and fits the theme very well. The art and music are also nice. Great first submission for sure!

Vampire Survivors has a special place in my heart, and any I really like any Vampire Survivor-like! I can tell the game is a little unfinished, but I could see the vision. A cool mutation-spin on Vampire Survivors!

Extremely visually appealing and creative. The application of the mutation theme is a tiny bit of a stretch, given this is more selective breeding than mutating, but I am just being pedantic. The gameplay is very fun and the theme is implemented well into the gameplay. One issue I had is that some battles could be extremely easy, while others could be nigh impossible. Either way, this was a ton of fun!

Definitely one of the best games artistically this jam. The characters are sprited very well. As for the gameplay, I think it needs some tuning. I placed four of the peashooters on each row and never had any trouble, and there was no end in sight. The music is also great! Overall, I think this is a very solid jam entry. Not a whole lot of theme relevance, though, but still a good game regardless.

Very charming game! I loved the artstyle and the story really intrigued me; I could really see the vision. Though, I think the gameplay is very repetitive, and the more captivating part - the story - wasn’t really given much credence here. Other than that, I enjoyed this!

thank you for the feedback! while i can see why this could be a little frustrating, it’s a common trope in tower defense games to be thrown off-guard by a new type of enemy and failing, then learning what to do for the next run. this was definitely not made very clear, and the game not telling you what each of the towers did definitely made this more frustrating, so we’ll keep your feedback in mind for if we update the game.

thank you so much!

real.

thank you! yeah the game definitely could have used more easing in terms of introducing the concepts, but given the time limitations im afraid we just couldnt do that. im glad you enjoyed the game!

thank you! it was either not make a tutorial or make a bit of a wordy tutorial, so we decided to err on the side of caution. either way, im glad you enjoyed our game!

thank you for the review! yeah i agree the game is a bit too easy. we didnt have enough time to balance it properly, and decided to lean easier rather than harder. if you want a bit more of a challenge, try getting all achievements!

thank you for the review! imo i think it’s nice to leave the mystery of a tower’s use up to the player to figure out, but quite a few people have echoed the sentiment that they’d like to know what each tower does beforehand, so you’re not alone here.

duuude the art is amazing! this game is very pretty to look at, and a quite interesting take on the turn based rpg genre!

very silly little vampire survivors game with a twist. i feel like i dont really understand why my followers didnt always be repurposed at each place, but in general, i enjoyed the game a lot!

this game is sooo fun but i feel like the powerups are pretty confusing. why do i only have them for a few seconds before they go away? i also couldnt really feel much of the influence of the flowers. other than that i have accrued so much dopamine running around crushing critters. very fun game!

i think this game took a few years off of my lifespan LOL very fun game and fits the theme well though. hoped it was a lot longer, but this is great!

incredibly unique! i like the DS-esque double screen mechanic, and the 2nd wildcard was implemented surprisingly well. i think the game’s mechanics could have used a bit more explaining, but time’s tight…

this was great!

LOL this game is absurd i love it not sure if it fits the theme much but it’s great

haha thank you my favorite is Oarius the Vailman

thank you! yeah that bug is annoying. to anyone reading the review before playing the game: maybe avoid placing towers right next to the spawn.

other than that, thank you for the honest review!

i agree…

tysm!

He’s TOL because he’s True…

simple but fun game! i feel like the game could have used a few more extra parts to customize robots even more, and it also gets repetitive a little quick, but i found myself excited every time my bots managed to win against the other team. good game
