Great idea! Taking the power of my enemy seems like the main hook of the game, and I'd consider it the strength of the game as well! I can imagine targeting certain enemy types just so I can use their attack against another type that's weak to it. I think you could address an area of friction I had, which is how loud the (epic) music was, by adding a volume slider. Good work so far :)

I finally made it! Very cool game. I missed the first jump after beating the creature, which while not a hard reset, induced at least one rage quit lol! I enjoyed the ending, especially the lighting trick with the credits. Yeah, I sometimes get turned around with the different itch pages, thanks!

I loved the subversive elements. The rendering of the character was phenomenal! Great job coming up with a novel theme interpretation too.

I had a hard time with this one! Chat basically had to walk me through it lol, but I loved how the audio/visuals created such a great atmosphere. It really set the right tone for this sort of game.

Thank you! I'm definitely becoming more of a cozy/idle game dev lol

This was the first jam entry I went for a 100% completion rate on, I was just so hooked by it!

I would start writing this stuff down, but I'm worried that if I do, I might lose my mind like so many genre protagonists do when they investigate the occult. Very impressive writing & ui!

The jumpscare of the mom busting into the room got me every single time, well done! XD

Thank you so much! I definitely had a plan for outlining selections (stencil buffer please) but there was a problem with many of the imported models, and obv no time :`) can't wait to try your game!

Thanks Fodi! I just wish I'd had the foresight to avoid it altogether and not sink 4+ hours into tools I couldn't use, haha...

Thank you Fodi! Unfortunately, none of the tooling ended up working, so we did have to place pretty much everything by hand...
