We're going to gather the judges up and go through the list of awards - we'll also be highlighting each entry along the way.
Winners will be announced on a livetream, and we'll follow up with interviews too!

Hey everyone! With my most recent video, I had a bunch of new entries pop into the Jam. I also anticipate a few more might come on board with my launch of Bug Busters on Kickstarter, and Fang being an add-on. As the goal of this jam was a build community around Fang, I am extending the deadline one last time to be December 21 (Winter Solstice), which seems appropriate!
I recognize that some of you have been super diligent in entering early! I will be sending an extra little something to you in your final package as a way to say thanks!
Thanks again for everyone being part of the Jam!
Garry
I've had a few creators reach out ans ask if the deadline could be extended, and just wanted to gauge your interest in this?
Ultimately, I want for everybody to create the best adventure possible, and these things can sometimes take time - and life is busy!
As always, I'm happy to answer any questions you have, or support you in any way possible!

Of course! You can buy it from my store here: https://dieku.myshopify.com/
(Keep in mind that all entries in the jam will also receive 2 physical copies of the booklet
Hmmm... Im not sure of POD. I've successfully used Mixam for testing small print runs with that landscape format. I can also share my printing specs for the original FANG booklet, which has slightly thicker matte paper that was done on an offset printer (not a digital printer).
Would it be helpful to do a blog post with all the details? I was also thinking of doing a livestream where folks can hop on and ask questions in the near future.
Let me know!
The Third-party license has this:
The real world can be dark, depressing, and cruel. While we encourage creating difficult challenges for characters, please keep in mind that the world of Fang is based upon the innocence and simplicity of children books – and should remain that way. The setting also pays immense homage to the beautiful Swedish people for their contributions to the world and all references should be done with utmost respect.
So, this is more like the antithesis of Mork Borg.
It's a digital PDF submission, but you are welcomed to do anything you want with it, including printing it at some point in the future.
The templates are just there to assist folks if they are stuck, and you do not have to use any of them as part of the project. This is your own creation! The only request I have is to keep it "booklet sized, and horizontal," which is 8.5"wide X 5.5" high. The decision behind that request is so that it all matches with other adventures, and I also hope people do illustrations that span the entire 2-page spread - which was part of the fun of the original booklet.
I hope that helps!
Hey All! I just wanted to share with you some early resources that might help get your creative juices flowing for the jam!
- Brainstorming Ideas (with a helpful d66 table to fire up the imagination!)
- Making Monsters (This is just a first overview, but plan on doing some livestream monster creation)
- Making Magic Heirlooms
- Making Maps
- Getting Inspiration from Fairy Tales
- Learning About Illustrators that Inspired Fang
- Learning OSR Principles (did you know Fang has OSR principles at its core?)
- Using the 3E's to make locations (Evoke - Enrich - Elicit)
- Guide to Making Digital Art from Sketches
- Using the Fäng Templates
Let me know what other things might be helpful!
Also,, if you don't mind taking a moment to promote the jam on social media, sharing the link and hashtag #FunWithFang - it would be appreciated!
Garry
