As someone in their 40s, I’ve started enjoying different kinds of activities, and bird watching is one of them. This little game was inspired by Heardle from Spotify, but it focuses on identifying bird calls and songs.

Try to guess which bird is singing each day, then challenge your friends to see if they can identify it too. Every day features a new bird song to enjoy and recognize.

Play here: https://diegodotta.itch.io/guess-the-bird

How to Play

  • You have 6 attempts to guess the bird.
  • You can guess part of the name (e.g. "Robin").
  • Or just single letters to reveal them.
  • The image gets less blurred with every attempt.
  • Once you have completed it, you can challenge a friend, learn more about the bird, or join the discussion.
  • Every day you get a new bird to guess.

Conflict zones have a special filter, silence mode (no radio), and some audio cues.

This is one of the best games I've played recently!

Super! Thanks for your ideas! Sky is so beautiful! I have some steampunk models on my roadmap, I'll let you know when and if I can simplify the models to add to the game.

If you run out of coins, let me know and I can give you more.

Thanks, Yo! I'm having a blast working on it. Do you have any insights on how to make the interaction between the players more interesting?

Funny thing is, I also struggle with how to classify this. The first version was even more bizarre, with all the players trying to control the same balloon. :p Thanks again for the feedback. I've just fixed some things. I'll make now the Map available without the need of signup and also improve the festival convo.

This is priceless. Thank you for your feedback. I gained many insights from your video to improve the experience.
