This was extremely fun and the music is great!

These are of the same run btw, I just had a big deck.

Sorry about that, we were pressed for time near the end and didn't implement a shroom counter or any sort of game over message for when you collect the last shroom. Some other people have given this for feedback in the game jam comments though so maybe if we ever work together on a similar type of a game again, we will try to implement a proper game over screen or indicator.

Thank you for the kind words! I don't know when I'll have the time to work on a new project using this concept, but I really liked the concept too!

Yeah, I messed up the mapping with the levels, so the starting levels are in the wrong order hence, the awkward in-game instructions and I do remember one of the areas accidentally leading back to a previous level. However, due to the little content in the game since this was made for GMTK 2025, the final level was meant to loop back to the first level (and unintentionally worked with the theme of the jam: Loop). But yes, my mistake with the mapping probably made it very confusing to play through and I could have made it clearer which level was the final level.

The boxes were not meant to be move very little when jumped on, my physics with the boxes were very scuffed so that is something I will keep in mind when I make boxes for any new projects.

Thank you for mentioning that the invisible doors could be interacted with, it seems I did not turn off their colliders at the beginning of the level if they started off hidden so that was a complete oversight of mine.

And yes, there is supposed to be no music or sound, I ended up not having time near the end of the game jam to add sound or music, nor have I worked much with making my own music yet. Maybe in future projects I will implement sound or music, but I don't believe I will for a while on solo projects.

Thank you for the detailed feedback! If you have any suggestions for the game, I would appreciate those too. I don't intend on working on this specific project for a while because I've been busy, but I did enjoy the concept I created for this one, so I have thought about making a new project using this concept (no guarantees, just an idea I've had).

Ah, I can’t believe I forgot to put that on the first level and description. Thank you so much for pointing that out!

It works fine for me on itch.io now, if you could specify what you're doing to cause this, it would help the developer troubleshoot. Like is the game kicking you when you login or when you try joining a lobby? Small things like that can help the developer a lot in figuring out the problem! You might also find that joining the discord and reporting this in tech-support channel can also help the developer see your issue and fix it sooner.

I did get them fixed and now the game is playable. It's nothing impressive, but I wanted to say thank you for the kind words!

I’m glad you found the mechanics easy to understand! And thank you for mentioning the jump, I didn’t notice that while making the game!

I'm really glad you enjoyed the little dialogues I put with each box and that you found the number of puzzles nice! I don't play a lot of FPS, and the crouch jump sounds interesting so if you don't mind, could you describe it a bit? I think it could be an interesting mechanic for future games or this one if I ever go back to it after the jam.

Heh, I'm glad you enjoyed the jokes in all the levels!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game and the little text I put around!

Heh, I'm glad you found my game enjoyable and found the text funny!

I'm glad you found the puzzles interesting! And oh yeah, I do see the similarities in our mechanics after playing your game. I definitely enjoyed how your scale affected the bounciness of the player though!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game and my jokes!

I'm glad you enjoyed the puzzles! And thanks for the feedback on the jumping parts of the game, maybe after the jam I'll rework them a bit, but that piece of feedback will definitely help me in the future!

I really liked the game, and moving around with the vacuum is really fun! But on the first room that has two jump pads (first level), if you die, you disappear from the screen. I think you guys might've forgotten to add a check point for the room and the camera locks onto the room, so you respawn in the room before, but you can't get back since you can't see. I'm assuming this because if I move around and hear the granny scream (the sound effects are great too!) when you die. I can't wait to see the full release!

Thanks! I just tried and I'm able to connect again.

I couldn't find anywhere to file a bug report on the home page of untrusted so I'm doing it here. (If anyone could send a link for bug reports please send it)

I tried refreshing my page, disconnecting/reconnecting my internet, restarting my computer and I keep getting this thing saying Lost Connection: Trying to reconnect every time I join a server and it keeps failing (edit: if I abort connecting to the server, it keeps trying to connect and then it kicks me out and forces me to login again). I'm using the itch browser version and I've played Untrusted on here before. If anyone can suggest solutions, please do because I've really enjoyed playing so far.

Pretty interesting concept and I think it could be a good game but due to the lack of guidance at certain points, it becomes difficult to play, like I'm pretty sure I collected all the [] except for one and now I have no idea where to find the last one. It would be interesting to see where this game would go if you continue to work on it!

Game works, and the visuals are nice, only issue is that if you "beat" the game by setting the population equal to or less than zero before the time runs out, you still lose. But overall it's a nice game, good job!

I really enjoyed the mechanics, and the game overall was very well balanced. I found it pretty addictive which is a good thing.

Pretty fun and intuitive however, before you place the zombies down, you can shove the humans down the lane so that's a small issue.

The game's really fun! I would love to see a full version of this. My only suggestion is to make the weaken mechanic a little stronger (or increase it's value for some of the cards) because it isn't very effective.

The art is absolutely beautiful, however (if you haven't fixed this yet then sorry) I kept walking right through buildings, vases, trees, ground, etc. anything but the green cauldron for some reason. And not sure if this is a bug, but I found three sharks swimming around in the water at once.

Also, please make this a full game, it would be really cool!

Well, I actually went to Mappi Village which was what made me realize it was a scam. But maybe you could have the northern village send the letter to Mappi instead of the other way around (assuming the player went to the northern one first)? It is hard trying to keep a story together while letting the player have freedom to explore, but I really enjoyed the freedom I had in the game since it allowed me to progress at my own pace and do some exploration.

A third village sounds really cool! And expanding on the human-beast relationship sounds really neat. But good luck on your other game!

LMAO, I actually skipped the Lake Monster quest because in my head I was like, "This is such a scam. I'm outta here." So, I didn't get the hint for the Misty Forest, and then I realized near the end of the game before the Wraith quest that I should get some mithril equipment just in case. Then I went into the Misty Forest and after some experimenting, I realized the rocks were next to the correct path and assumed that was the hint lol. It wasn't until I beat the game that I went back to finish the Lake Monster quest and finally realized why there was a "hole" in the story about the relationship between Mappi Village and the northern one.

It's kinda hilarious as to how this got so convoluted without me realizing it. Not to mention I recovered the first orb (probably early like you mentioned in your comment) from the first ruins. But I really enjoyed the main story, and the Wraith ending was pretty funny!

I like the pixel art, but I'm stuck after finishing the first dungeon. The NPCs won't let me pass, and I can't seem to repair the stargate with the gate part.

I really enjoyed the game and like the parrying combat (especially against the creature at the gate since it was very satisfying), but it seemed a little overpowered against the end boss. For example, I kept spamming the parry option during the boss fight and even though that uses up the gray bar, you don't have the time to heal so it's fine. It also meant that you were pretty much guaranteed to hit that small window of time right before the enemy attacks, so you reflect their damage back. I managed to only parry the boss to beat them, and I understand the combat system is designed around parrying but it works a little too well with the boss's attack pattern (since the boss does multiple hits in a row for a short period of time). Overall though, the game was very satisfying once you learn the enemies attack rhythm and I liked the art.
