I'm obsessed with the sound effects. This is awesome. I keep missing the volcanoes by like 4 pixels and dying terribly. Never put me in charge of saving the planet... Great job with this!

Neat project! The programmer profession is >>>> . Unfortunately I can't seem to get a promotion in this game or in real life T_T. Had heaps of fun trying!

I'd love the future updates to include tooltips when I hover on the buttons so that my small brain can work out what they all do! It could also be cool to get a "why" you died on the death screen as sometimes I've died in the wrong place to watch it happen.

I've designed this up so that DR and MA are more rare and tricker to work out than the other ones. I'd recommend doing smaller bins of 4-5 numbers at a time to see if you can accidentally find it and work out the pattern.

Really light spoiler incoming: If you've worked out how to reliably get FC you're on the way to working out one of the ways to get DR (each type of scary number has 2 triggers). Consider the meaning of FR in the show vs the way you find it in the game. How does the emotion behind FC look different to DR irl.

Its broken! When this was more popular there were leaderboards anf clicking the logo was a quick way to check them. Ive been disconnected from the database due to low useage. Ill hook it back up over the weekend.

Hello! I'm happy to share specific parts of the code either on stream or within my Discord if you have any specific interest in some sections of the code. Otherwise, I'm in the middle of working on a YouTube video about the process of making this, which will include some big picture details :))

I'm reluctant to post the full source code to GitHub as revealing how the numbers are scored would ruin parts of the game.

oooh this is fun! I am so terrible at it but having a blast :))

hahaha I was no match for the goblin hordes. Super charming game. I enjoyed playing :))

This is a really interesting use of cards. I could see some really cool games coming out of this idea. I enjoyed playing around with the mechanic!!

Congrats on finishing a gamedev project!!!

Nice job! The exit button doesn't work for me but otherwise these are some very solid fundamentals. Congrats!

This is giving hardcore nostalgia vibes but I don't know what for? 10/10 would run around in the forest again

Awesome work! Hope you get to use this in some future projects :))

Really neat concept! Full of charm for suure :)) I want to grab a friend and test out how this plays as a co-op puzzle haha! Nice job

I swear I've had this nightmare before hahah. Enjoyed getting my revenge!

You guys got me so much with the excel spreadsheet graphic hahahah. Had a blast playing this one

Very cool! Smartest zombie I've ever seen. I love the credit for caffeine haha

Just used one of these tracks in my game jam here: https://devwithlex.itch.io/a-fishing-game-about-movement

I had a discord member say "The music is fun and easy to listen to" as part of their playtest feedback so wanted to pass that on! Amazing work. I had a blast making a game with it

Hey! I don't fully own the rights to this. All content is heavily inspired by Apple IP and the game is pretty much fan art haha

This is very cool! really neat to see how you've done it. Love the SFX

Funding for finger traps has been temporarily diverted to the Choreography and Merriment department! Expect to receive your finger trap by the end of next quarter.

Just in time for the end of Severance S2 I've created a Macrodata-Refinement Simulator!

After opening your file, you will be met with a sea of numbers that seems to stretch endlessly in all directions. Over time, certain clusters of numbers will start to make you feel a certain way.

There are four categories of numbers, each of which elicits a different feeling. A refiner's job is to fill each of five bins evenly with the four kinds of numbers:

  • WO numbers: Elicit melancholy or despair;

  • FC numbers: Elicit joy, gaiety, and ecstasy;

  • DR numbers: Elicit fear, anxiety, or apprehension;

  • MA numbers: Elicit rage or a desire to do harm

    Praise Kier, and Goodluck!

Neat update! The sprite reminds me of stardew valley junimos in the best way :))

Had a great time trying this out! How long did it take to create?
