Thanks for playing. You might guess how it was supposed to be a highscore game (wich is still kinda is). But I couldn’t figure out how I should spawn new cookie spawners in as you get score. The respawn mechanic that comes from the levels also makes it much more generous to play and progress, I still understand you didn’t made it to the last level since it gets pretty damn challenging imo. Maybe a life system would have been beneficial since the goal still is to get a high score not necessaraly to reach the last level. Glad you had fun!
I just got 4 ratings bro. All on the first day, after that nothing just 2 viewa lol. It works on web, also got 3 really nice comments already. Always appreciate at least some people playing my games. I made it in like 4 to 5 days since I missed the start but I’m proud about my creation. So yeah, check it out! It’s about being quick so cookies don’t mold and become biscuit zombies.
Good basis for a game I think, but it feels like there is nothing meaningful to do yet. I don’t know if the golden biscuit is real, it seems like you just go and go and always do the same stuff. Nice graphics but no sound and some other issues: Coins go below 0, fighting system isn’t fully implemented I think and food does not dissapear when eaten wich leads to an inventory full of apples. I like items and descriptions, I’ve just encountered basic enemies so the items I had didn’t matter though, also like the character changing outfits.
Hi, your feedback means a hell lot to me :)
And thanks for reminding me about donations, I’ve turned 18 and haven’t bothered about that, I’ll update that soon, since I’m “planning” on developing commercial games.
This was more like just a game jam game I couldn’t upload in time because the scope was too high. Seeing this game in such a list already feels rewarding enough. So thanks for letting me know you’ve enjoied it.
Indeed, I think the music is the best part about this game, maybe.
Thanks for pointing out those issues ^^
The first problem only happens in the web, so I noticed it way too late. But I think I can just use a RessourcePreloader node in the game scene, so it would lag when the game starts, abd not during gameplay.
For the second, I think it would be a good to idea to apply some knockback to enemies when they hit the player so they dont get stuck inside you like this.
Oh god, thank you so much. Seeing a meme about your game feels so awesome <3 <3 <3
I'm also pretty proud about the music .
The thing is, I couldn't even beat it.
I actually thought about a way to choose your formation but I didn't had the time to come up with something other than monsters following you in the fight <3
Hey, thanks for playing and I really apreciate your critigue. I also remade the game because of whacky game jam code and I also keep working on it. I also made the jump a little less floaty already, I like how it is now, but I may increase the fall gravity a bit more. I personaly think that it should be at least a little floaty so you can time your actions better while falling. I also plan to make an Input map where you can make your own keybinds (however the current keybinds with the right hand just on the arrow keys worked pretty good for me, but yeah different hands and different keyboards i guess). There also is controller support. More levels (also with different mechanics using the 4 directional actions) and a chapter system thing will also be there.
