Hey, I get what you're saying. I've added a new camera in an attempt to replicate something similar, along with some other fixes in the new build. It's in the same cycle as the previous one (C, or the right joystick on the controller). I hope you like it!

I've gotten more than a few comments saying that invalidating a run is too strict, so I've decided that it no longer gives 0 coins and XP. Now it gives 30% of what it would have given if the run had been valid.

I'd never seen RC-ProAm before, but I just watched some gameplay footage, and if you zoom in on the game, I think you can get something similar. However, if you don't think it's similar, could you tell me more specifically what you mean, and I'd be happy to try to add something similar.

Hi everyone. I've spent the last months making Idle Laps, and I think it's ready enough to show.

The idea came from wanting an idle game where the numbers came from something I'd actually done. You set a best lap yourself, and from then on your ghosts replay that lap on loop and earn for you. If you want more income, you go back out and drive a better lap — your own driving is the ceiling on everything else.

On top of that there's the usual: six kart upgrades, XP and levels, and a permanent ascension tree you spend points on (shortcuts, more ghosts, coin and XP multipliers, auto-buy). Ascending wipes the run but the tree stays.

It's a free demo, around 2.5 hours to the end, Windows only for now.

I'd really like to hear what you think about the balancing, it's the part I'm least sure about.
