Hi everyone! I’m the developer of Desktop Bloom, and I’ve put a free Windows demo on itch.io.
It’s a farming game that sits along the edge of your desktop. Your farmer handles planting, watering and harvesting while the game is running. You choose what to grow and when to check in. When you need the space, you can shrink it into a small character widget.
The demo includes three areas and three characters to meet. There are conversations between the characters too—this isn’t just about watching your crop count go up.

It supports English and Spanish. The full game is still in development.
I’d especially like feedback on the desktop layout: are the text and buttons comfortable to read at the size you normally use?
A note on AI use: some graphics were created with AI assistance and then edited and integrated into the game. I also used AI assistance to help write this introduction.
