Yeah the artist is amazing but the programmer (me) had some personal things going on.  We are improving gameplay post-jam and planning for a full game design. I've already implemented logic where an item is clicked and it gets added to the cup on the counter (instead of clicked on the counter). We have made a lot of improvements post-entry. Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback! We very much appreciate it!

Much appreciated! Thank you for the feedback! Like I said it's a template provided by another game dev, but I will definitely get that implemented over dates!

Us too! Thanks for playing!

Agreed on music and sounds. We even had some picked out! We are excited to expand this beyond the jam though! Let us know what you think of the doc. It's based off a template provided by PirateSoftware. My ADHD brain likes how it is broken down.

Thanks! Great minds think alike lol!!! Thanks for playing! Yes, our artist is amazing!!!

Definitely planning to expand into a full game! Thanks for playing!

Very cool! Similar to cult of the lamb I think? The music was great, a little loud for me, but i also didn't look for controls haha. Really enjoyed the mechanisms and movement as well as the art. Well done!

Very cool! Love the art. It was a bit rough to click and drag everything, but i really enjoyed this! Well done!

Agreed. We have some music already picked out, just didn't have the time to implement it. We will be expanding this further and are also excited to see where it goes! thank you!

We are planning to do a full game! Be sure to follow us both ;)

yes! We have some great music picked out, but only had the first day and saturday to really work on it so will have to add that later

In the description we noted that it is unplayable right now. Locally the game plays as expected, but when uploaded to itch, the arrows either don't spawn or spawn on the wrong layer. There is a link to a gameplay video in our GDD.

This Jam shows as being ranked. What are they voted on? Is it community voting, public voting, or judge voting?

Thank you! I appreciate your feedback and will look to implementing. Some of the wall jumps are not required, but definitely help if you fall to a spot and need to climb back up somehow. Not everyone is adept at the double jump lol.

thank you! Yes! I made an update and some of my ghosts bugged lol. I've updated it since jam submission, so i have them working now. The art is by Kenney and i love the lil 1-bit dudes. I will have to work with them some more!

Thanks! I had fun with the cinematic! i am already working on more levels lol. I really enjoyed this one more than I thought I would and it's my first real platformer! Glad you liked it!

Ambience and sounds were great, so were the animations. I agree more of a puzzle aspect would add to the appeal, or even some additional challenges along the way.

love the mechanics and the tutorial. the movement is slick, though i feel the 'fall' should be slower if its water? I get it though! Very cool!

did you get the second key?  would love to know what happened so i can correct for later iterations

thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it and i'm sorry it was so short. A big part of my time went into the map exploration bit!

working on more but wanted to be sure i didn't overscope and have nothing to submit

PERFECT! That worked thank you!

Cute! I like the movement and arcade style. the tree at the end blocked some of the fighting initially, but otherwise easy to use. Controls are definitely different than what I am used to, but I got it eventually!

Not sure if I am doing something wrong but I'm not able to play. It is stuck on the home screen where it says to pick a language. I try selecting a flag, but there is nothing to click :(

Cute story!

Super cute and heartwarming. I love the voxel aspect and the snowball rolling animation and snowman creation was great! I would suggest going back and recalibrating your cameras - especially when rolling the snowball onto the platform because the camera jumps to the left.

i've added you on bsky but can't message either profile, can it be any ttrpg? would love a prompt :) desistdawdling on bluesky

thank you!!

Hello, can you please fix the jam page colors? As they are, it is very hard to read the descrption :(

Please and thank you!

Thank you! Yes it needs some work! Thanks for the glitch info, we will add it to our logs! And also the GDD (oops!)

Thank you! If you want to give it another go, here's a hint : you can shot mid-air to get more momentum (think double-jump)

it was still enjoyable and i love education games. Are you planning on continuing development?

I know. I had issues with little mechanics so could not build it out further. I work full time and am a college student and mom lol. There WILL be more later on <3 Thank you for checking it out!

There WILL be more math lol. It's a game jam game but I have plans for building it out. Thank you!!

it's short if you know the answers or how to do the problems lol :)

you learn if you enter the wrong answer, hence the learning from failure :)

i got the windows fixed but too late to update

thank you! i'm excited to expand this out!

oh wow! i'll have to give it another go! I thought the trees might have something to do with it!
