Hmm.

You're gonna find yourself banned thanks to saying you're under the age of eighteen.

Yes. As far as I'm aware, it won't affect any of the saves across any of the platforms. Someone may correct me if I'm wrong about one of the platforms.

Yes, why goon when you can just be titillated whilst enjoying the story? Lol~

Out of curiosity, Runey, do you have another site you advertise the game on? From what I can see, it doesn't seem like it, but I don't think it can hurt to inquire.

From the sounds of things, haremguy doesn't disagree with what you just stated, Taleman. Forcing one's will on others is bullshit.

As someone with a lot of patience, I'd love to see larger content updates with each character being properly addressed. I'd say the main thing would be finding your groove once again, as regardless if the updates are large or small the development of the game is, reasonably so, in a slowed state. So whichever comes easier for you to get back into things is the option I'd prefer the most.

I'm not sure about Google Play. But in order to create the .apk file, Runey has to go through Ren'py itself. If there are other methods, I'm not aware of them.

To answer the question: Runey has mentioned that, based on his current knowledge, Ren'py has a size limit of 2 GBs for .apk files. The game, as of update 0.18.2, is ~12 GBs in size. Another method will be required in order to create an .apk file for the game.

I vaguely recall someone suggesting a method, but I could be wrong about that one (it's been awhile). But to reiterate: the .apk file can't be created by itself due to the size of the game.

You're fifteen? What are you even doing here?

Wrong reply thread. Lol~
But I think that could be an interesting idea, at least. Might involve a lot of work to setup. Could be neat as a mod.

Nothing wrong with further compression, Taleman. If anything, I'd think that could only be considered a good thing.

That's a fine recommendation as well, I think. Adding it to the wiki's FAQ could help a lot, but it'd also help, in some small way, to put it here on the main page.

For one, I'm sure not everyone is even aware of the wiki, and if they are there's no telling whether they've been there before. I've been following the game for years and I've not once visited the wiki. Secondly, with it being on the main page, likely directly by the 'planned theme' it'd be right near where people would see that pregnancy is a planned theme; as I'm sure there are a number of people that read through the page, see that, and then ask about when it'll be added (or if it's already been added).

Just to reiterate, I do think it'd be a grand idea to add a comment about it in the FAQ on the wiki, but also to the direct game page here - where people will be able to find it a touch more directly. Even if it won't prevent many people, it just needs to help some.

I addressed that very thing in my comment. The key being that it might prevent a handful of people from needing to ask. In no way am I expecting it to prevent asking entirely, as some people just refuse to look for information.

Runey, a minor suggestion toward the game page here: around where you say that pregnancy is a planned theme, it might help, at least to some small amount, if you add a note or something saying that that content won't be added until around the end of the game.

Might stop a handful of people from asking when it'll be added, as they'll be able to just spot the information above.

There really is a pervasive misunderstanding about the game and its classification. It really isn't a porn game, by nature, it's an adult visual novel with a high amount of sexual elements. If anything, it's a bit of a minor difference... but still a difference.

Zippidy-do, here is a screenshot for you.

I'm aware it was brought up before, as with that time I am equally as confused at your mentioning it here, under this game. If it were in a more generalized chat locale, like, say, Discord, then that'd be totally understandable. Saying it relates to Runey because he replied to you is rather a stretch.

I'm glad you're enthusiastic about your new position, I hope it treats you well. But, again, there has to be a better place for this.

Here's a query, friend: how does this relate to Harem Hotel or Runey?

Yes, you're addressing him, but this doesn't relate to him or his work. I get your enthusiasm, but there has to be a better place to do this, hmm?

Based on replies from Runey, it would appear that the file size limit for .apk with Renpy games are 2 GBs.

It isn't disguised as a 'Hentai Game' either, actually. It is merely an Adult Visual Novel; ie, a visual novel with heavy usage of adult themes.

In times of trouble, find the instructions on the double. However, I can provide in a stumble.

My best guess was that the person played on one of those browser game sites, so they played it directly through the browser itself. NewGrounds being an example of what I'm talking about (no idea if someone uploaded there, but it just fits).

From my understanding, one can circumvent a block by simply using an alt-account. So they do get blocked, they just side-step it.

I rather like the idea of traits having a bit more related content. It'd make them more weighted, and having the added expansions be optional would help for those that might not like said content.

If I had one specific point for additions (on a suggestion basis) then I'd like more content for Kate, but as someone else mentioned it'd also be cool to learn more about her roommate, too.

I would like to second the motion for more in-town events, random encounters; and more for the main character's wardrobe (or lack thereof).

To give an explanation anyways: that is an update patch file (as stated in the name). It allows you to download only the updated content and apply it to your already downloaded game, that way you won't have to download the entire game again. It'll have instructions within the downloaded files on how to apply it, too!

The save files are located in a different area than where the game files are actually stored, thus deleting them won't remove progress. I don't actually know where the saves are stored, as I've never looked for them - but this has been what multiple people have said and seems to hold weight.

Hello, to answer your question: 0.18 is a major release, and 0.18.1 is a minor release. Major releases add new content or make 'major' changes, while minor releases primarily focus on things like bug fixes.

You can tell this sort of thing based on where the numbers in version change. X.1.1, for example, has X being the release or complete version, with, often times, 1.0 being the game being completed (or near) and coming out as a release. 0.Y.1, then, would see Y as a major release. And 0.1.Z, therefore, would see Z as a minor release. Hope this explains the system, it is my understanding of it, though, so apologies if I got anything wrong.

Hallo, RD Ace. Since the question seems to be lingering, allow me to shine some clarity on the matter.

Harem Hotel v0.18.1 PC/Android12 GB

Harem Hotel v0.18.1 PC/Android (Mirror)

Above are the names of the two links in which you'd want to concern yourself with. The latter link is simply a mirror, an alternative site to download the game from in case the first link isn't working for some reason. You can find them easy by the mark of "PC." I hope this helps.

Hello, I have an image that leads to a section on this page that can answer this very question:

Based on a previous statement (in which I don't hundred percent remember correctly), Runey said that he releases the public release twelve or fourteen days after the pre-release. Based on when the pre-released happened that should mean today, the 26th. Not next week.

Secondly, if that sort of edits for Ashley were to happen -- and this is a big if -- it wouldn't happen in the upcoming release. There's no reason to delay it for something like that, it would, instead, come in a later release down the road. Hypothetically, of course.

In response to your first question that would be the meaning behind those words as far as I can infer. So, yes, a new save would be starting a new game (or starting from the beginning, in other words).

For the latter part, I believe, from what has been mentioned about it thus far, that would largely be the intended use. Growing various crops to sell for an early income.

In times like this, a handy screenshot helps:

Congratulations on the pre-release, Runey. I believe many of us will be looking forward to the public release.

I am not saying things are perfect, nor anything remotely like that. Merely that the information is out there; it's upfront. I was quite clear in my wordage about that.

I'll address the presented information from the game further, then: the second screen showcases "quick tips," this is largely a brief summary and not all that clear; after the introduction there is a more proper guide that explains in more details, it's fairly nice and explains the information well enough (at least for me to understand things clearly, I cannot speak toward new players nor those with difficulties toward whichever language they are playing in). The latter tutorial can only be viewed once, which is rather problematic and should very much be changed to include an option to view at any point or perhaps when not within a scene.

I loaded the game up and checked not too long ago. I didn't check very far, but the second screen that pops up when starting a new save clearly explains how to progress the main story. So it is quite forthright.

It's something I've noticed as well, and I believe forestmarko is referring more to the fact that it only really shows the same set of games now. Which, in turn, would suggest that it is no longer functioning properly.

Exploring the town is, largely, additional content from my understanding. Simply staying within the hotel and interacting with the girls, doing their events, is what leads to progressing through the story and seeing the majority of events within the screenshots on the page.

Edit: I do think it would be good, however, if the game were a bit more forthright with that information if it wasn't already.

Slight correction to that: there is a v0.18 that is available. It is, however, v0.18 Beta Build 3 (and the prior versions). Which means numbers person was likely using one of the beta builds.
