also maybe just make the manufactured proteins automatically become part of the membrane because currently its nearly impossible for the proteins to get to the membrane through everything else
sweet game but i have a few suggestions. it is incredibly frustrating watching resources block other resources from reaching ribosomes/nuclei etc, we need some way to get around that. also maybe some membrane proteins similar to bacterial efflux pumps so we can remove stuff from the cell, which could also be used for defense if you ever add environmental hazards like toxins. maybe channels that require energy to operate but dont degrade over time?
