Thank you for the feedback!

This turned out really cool! Out of all the jam games I’ve played, I enjoyed this one the most. Great music and graphics! But here are a few issues I noticed:

  1. Without the GIFs, it was completely unclear how to play at first, and it’s a bit strange that the ingredient boxes aren’t highlighted or labeled with what’s inside.

  2. A tiny nitpick: the default Godot focus outline around the "Start Game" and "Next Recipe" buttons could be removed.

  3. It seems like there’s no FPS lock, so my computer gets heavily loaded while running the game.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m not quite sure why you say you can’t attack down or left — as far as I know, you can? I’ll try to remember to let you know if I update the game!

Interesting idea! I have a similar game — I'd be grateful if you could check it out! Here are a few issues I noticed:

  1. The syringe boss sprite looks blurry — maybe you forgot to set the texture filter to "Nearest"?

  2. On level 2, the game just froze with a message saying "2 enemies left".

  3. The camera doesn’t have boundaries at the edges of the map.

  4. As others have said, a web export is missing.

  5. The enemy-player collision hitbox feels too big.

I meant something a bit different about the pixel mismatch — when a sprite is simply scaled up, its pixel size increases and no longer matches the environment’s pixel size. Ideally, you’d draw separate sprites for each snowball size, but of course that’s too much for a game jam.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm not quite sure what you mean by a wave system — in my game, enemies already spawn in batches. I tried your game and left a rating!

Very beautiful visuals and an interesting, unique mechanic! But here are a few issues I noticed:

  1. In my opinion, the levels are a bit too long, and starting over after dying doesn’t feel great. It would be nice to have checkpoints throughout the level.

  2. The spike collision seems a bit too large.

  3. I didn’t really like the moment where you approach a springboard and spikes fall from above, even though you can’t see them beforehand.

  4. Simply scaling up the snowball sprite creates an issue with inconsistent pixel sizes (pixel mismatch).

Thanks!

Thanks! I haven't heard of the game Gauntlet.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! By design, parrying only reflects projectiles. Unfortunately though, projectile reflection turned out to be pretty useless.

Very cool concept! Great music. The effort put into the game is clear, though in my opinion there's a bit too much text and not enough gameplay. I'd also really appreciate it if you could check out my game!

Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, we probably should've done the mouse-hold attack after all. Fixed the link.

Thank you!

A very cool and original idea! The music is also fun — I really liked it. It just lacks themes for the UI elements and there's a bug where you can fly away at the end using the menu button. Rate my game if you'd like!

From a visual standpoint, the game is very beautiful. If you made the music yourself during the jam, that's cool. But mechanically, the game is very rough - a non-working HP bar, talking to already killed characters, getting stuck in textures. Awkward controls, it's unclear when you take damage. Also weird that you didn't export the game to web version. You can check out my game too!

Thank you!

Тнank you!

Thanks for the feedback! Do you know if it's possible to make fixes after the jam's deadline?

Cool game! Check out mine too.

Hello! Is it allowed to update or modify our game submission after the Jam deadline? If yes, are there any restrictions (e.g., time limits, approval needed)?
