A few days ago, I published a game inspired by Exit 8 and all similar games, in which the mechanics are based on searching for anomalies in a corridor:
https://dendrotelm.itch.io/polex
The corridor is full of references to Polish themes, pop culture, and simply the appearance of many corridors in Poland, especially in the 1990s and early 2000s. Okay, apartments too, we didn't have TVs in the corridor :-)
What makes the game stand out?
- The sanity mechanism – with every wrong step, the character moves slower and the screen shakes, making it harder to play. It is possible to regenerate sanity in a mini-game quiz ("Familiada", the Polish version of the game show Family Feud).
- Multiplayer mode – whoever finishes faster wins :)
- Random element placement mode – the base corridor will look different each time.
- Infinity mode – ultimately with a ranking of who managed to pass correctly (correctly identify the anomaly or its absence) as many times in a row as possible.
I would be very grateful for your feedback, especially critical comments – this is my first project of this type, I have seen many great games here, so I am counting on advice from more experienced developers
Serwus,

Detect the anomaly (or not) and find your way out.
To the point, what makes the gameplay stand out from dozens of similar games?
- The “sanity” mechanism, with numerous references to Polish pop culture in the broad sense
- Competitive multiplayer mode
- 3 additional modes (random corridor layout, hardcore mode, and infinite mode)
