We really worked hard to make them chat like actual people instead of just characters tryna pass as some. And whether or not there is a monster, surely they'd know how to talk enough to not be found out instantly, right? So might as well try to keep things as natural as possible while giving them all some sort of... odd behaviors to set with the tone!

The timeframe for Scream Jam is a lot shorter than we're used to, and we literally just came out of another jam so we were really tried to fit as much as we could. 

So so excited to hear you loved our little game- we really enjoyed working on it and are so happy to hear you enjoyed it, too!

Thank you so much! Tenmei is just a really odd guy, but we love our boyfailure cowboy. If they're all weirder than normal, it's probably an after-effect of them being D&D characters modernized. Glad you thought the mirror scene was creative, honestly we came up with it after realizing the player NEVER sees him in the game... so we hope that fixed it!

"Our Himbo Turned into a Werewolf and this Dead-Beat DAD is Our Only Hope" is a title that I had to click on once I saw it, especially after seeing the art! The characters are so much fun and cartoony, from Pheobe being so adamant that "magic does not exist" as it happens right in front of her and she starts making serious inferences about the spellcasting, to Blaire basically being the most grounded character while also being the massive occult fan, to the great magus father and magus daughter's dynamic, to Jacob. Just Jacob in general. They all stand out so well and both the art and voice acting really sold them! I had so much fun with this game I was laughing and going "aww" and gasping all over the place; this was a super cool game, props to the team <3

JACOB FROM TWILIGHT??? 

Just finished all(?) the endings and man do I definitely have a favorite! From laughing to saying "aww" to gasping, this was a ride! I'd love to be friends with Jacob. Adore the voice acting and the art is so cute, hello? 

Small detail but the preferences being test tubes is really cool (also they change color??)

Such an eye-catching title that keeps you in for the whole thing!

This is such a charming experience! The characters are adorable and the dialogue was really fun~ Especially considering how little time the page says it took, this is really impressive especially from one person. Very glad to have gotten to play! Very attached to these silly guys <3

I LOVE THEM- The game is so charming! They're so silly and each have my heart- even John. Catch me squealing at every other line; the writing is so fun and the character art/designs are so squishable. Also, the way the Metamorphosis exposition is gone through so casually and naturally in dialogue is stunning.  I'm so happy for them all!

IM GLAD!! we were hopping to catch people's interest for Filipino Folklore as it goes hard HAHAH and THE VAs DID SO WELL YES we appreciate the effort and love they put in the chrs they are voicing! They really got the vibes and energy we were envisioning for the characters were really lucky to have them in our team <33
