Hi! Thank you so much for following the series of Mycopsychosys ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!
From time to time, we usuallly post updates and information from the game on our Discord if you want to check that up  ᕙ(  •̀ ᗜ •́  )ᕗ
We made an announce a few months ago explaining the game (first chapter) we calculated the game to be around late Q2 2026, but after working all this months we think it needs a bit more touches.

Soon enough we will make another announcement with the updates of the game and what changes we made (including a new releasing date)

As for the questions, we have answered a few of them (and more!) on our Discord Community if you want to take a look.  There are so many facts about them there! But still let me quick answer them here:

1. What's the canon age and height of the Characters? Do they have particular personalities? 
⭑Onna: Around  168cm [5'6'']
⭑Hugo: Around 175cm [5'9'']
⭑Ray: Around  185cm [6'1'']
⭑Noah: Around 159cm [5'3'']
⭑Silvia: Around 177cm [5'10'']
As for the personalities, ignoring the infection status, they do all have different and vibrant personalities. I would say Onna has the brightest personality of all, compared to Ray who is more introverted than anyone.

2.What inspired you to make this game?
There are a LOT of series, books, games and stories in general that inspired us to make the game. The first one is obviously the real Cordyceps fungus. The curious way of infecting ants fascinated us and really made us question what would really happen if that fungus infected people.
The game "The Last of Us" also uses this fungus as an inspiration, but they use it more like a "Zombie Virus" type.
I think it's also worth mentioning the anime "Parasyte" , "The Summer Hikaru Died" and, of course, the series of "Doppelgänger" 

3. Are you able to tell us any canons about characters? Like, do they all love to break into our home (just joking).
Noah probably loves to break into houses---- haha
But as for any canon there could be a lot of them! There are a lot of stories of them (and theories) on the Discord Server and, I can tell you, on our next games Mycopsychosys:Project Jupiter there will be a lot of information of the characters Hugo, Ray and Silvia.

4. Did Noah's dad got infected by the spores? 
That's a very interesting question actually--- (👁ˋ _ ˊ 👁) but that's up to you! Maybe he is??

5. Will there ever be a fandom page about Mycopsychosys?
If you are referring to the usual fandom wiki page I know two of them:

If it's your first time dowloading a game for itch.io it works just like a normal file!

1. Right click on the file. Choose Extract the game's folder in any folder you want.
2. Once extracted, go to the folder. If you have an anti-virus, let it check the folder.  (right click the folder - select "Scan with..."
3. Once that is done, look for a file that ends in .exe - double click that. (It should look like a red mushroom)
4. You'll most likely see a blue popup - Windows has protected you - click on more info - click on allow this app.
5. Play and enjoy the game!! ฅ^>⩊<^ ฅ
