Just reading this is incredibly inspiring. My table has some issues exploring personal matters in play, and this will give me a lot of ways to introduce that.

I like how the vignettes replace the Downtime Actions, but also expand on them a little, for example by adding different consequences for overindulging.

I think I'll build on those ideas to create new vignettes, and maybe even export the idea for other games !

An exquisite playbook, full of theme and fit for the season.

You'd probably need to use veteran advances from other playbooks to get a really playable character, rather than a walking gimmick, but pick one or two specials from this playbook to get a real creepy fellow with cool tricks up their sleeve !

I'd definitely play one if given the chance.

A smart lil' hack of Lasers & Feelings, it's evocative and good quality. I would definitely try it with my group !

The Move I'm thinking of revolves around summoning a deity for help and insight. There's a back-and-forth of questions to determine how likely you'll get the results you need - a bit akin to the BitD engagement roll. The main twist is that whatever you roll, whoever you tried to contact WILL appear.

I wanted to add a bit of setting behind that - maybe define a crisis, a polytheistic culture... But there's no way I'll have time for that. So it'll probably be setting agnostic.

The idea started out as a move I've drafted for a MASKS! hack I'm working on (touchstones : Scion, American Gods, The Defenders) so I hope it'll let me test that move by itself !! :)
