thanks for pointing that out!! there mightve been some miscommunication while deciding on the backgrounds on each scene and i kinda got confused on what to put haha ^^;

i considered implementing the sprite highlighting but ended up not having enough time sadly :( 

overall tysm for pointing these out well definitely take it into account if we make another game!!

for the lack of music and the weird dialogue - i felt like it'd help with the more oppressive atmosphere i was going for along with the generally confusing situation and the disconnect from reality, though the delivery might've been not so good since yes the game had to be done in a short time period ^^; (I'm planning on working on a longer project to accompany this game and give more context into the events and the characters!!)

also I'm so glad you liked the art!!🩷 there's a bit of a quirky style change between the menu and the main game that i thought would be interesting but I don't really know if it was jarring or not?? dunno if that makes sense
