Thanks for playing the game!
I agree balancing is an issue. I had very little time to test the interactions. That said, I agree that randomness has been a point many brought that is does not feel that good in this kind of game. Multiple paths and placing on other tiles than the next one is a very interesting idea that I'll try to implement. I initially cut the placing to only the next tile due to time constraints, but I agree it does feel a bit bad.
I found interesting that you brought up multiplayer, did not think about it. I'll add to the idea list.
Thanks again for the feedback, hope you had fun.

First of all, thanks for playing the game!
The randomness seem to be hit or miss, I'll do some experimentation on using a control panel instead and add randomness as some sort of event system. The plan is to have more options besides bandage and spikes, but I can see how randomness can be very harsh on this kind of game. The famous " sounds like a good idea but not that much in reality".
Thanks for taking time to play the game and give feedback.
First of all, thanks for playing.
I agree that the juice is very needed here. I also agree that the binary option is not that great for strategic thinking in this case.
Thanks for the feedback on the controls. I am thorn between have a dungeon building or go with a control panel and remove the randomness. I guess some experimentation is in order.
Thanks again for the feedback and taking time to play the game.
Shoot, I thought I fixed that bug. It is kind of like you said, it lost track of the remaining ships, I intend to work a bit more on this game so it is good feedback.
And about the ancient creature, It should have a chance of appearing after day 5, but it seems the chance may be too low right now.
Thanks for checking out The Last Light!
Thank you for the feedback.
Yeah, I wanted to go bigger and make some systems more fleshed out but time constraints and work got me hard. Still, I am happy there was some enjoyment with my submission. I already have a bunch of ideas and fixes for some mechanics.
Thanks for your comment and time playing The Last Light.
