I just put up the free demo of my first game, Halcyon Refund Services. It's a first-person horror game set in a scam call centre after midnight.

The idea: something is listening on the floor. Every sound you make - footsteps, jumping, your own voice in the mic - brings it closer. Silence pushes it back. To move forward you have to say the right word out loud at the right moment. Say the wrong thing and it hears you. (Mic is optional - you can type the words instead.)
The demo covers the first 5 stages and ends when the power goes out. It's short and it's dark, so play with headphones and the lights off.
A few notes:
- Windows only for now.
- The build isn't code-signed, so Windows may show an "Unknown publisher" warning. Click More info --> Run anyway.
- I've played it so many times I can't tell if it's scary anymore, so I'd love real reactions.
If you try it, three things would help me a lot:
1. Did the mic work for you, or did you switch to typing?
2. Could you tell where the thing was and when you were in danger?
3. Where did you get stuck or lost?
