Thank you :)

Thank you! I'm really not good, or at least not confident, with music, so I'm glad people liked my picks in the end :)

Thank you for playing :)

Thanks for the feedback :)

I actually had that one in mind, but time being limited... that's the frustrating part of a game jam 馃憖

I feel a bit stupid... I managed to complete the tutorial, but got stuck on the levels. So I vote for a more detailed tutorial ^^ Also, are some clicks no detected? Sometimes it took me several attempts to make a connection, so possibly that made me believe some connections were impossible while it was actually only a few missed clicks.

Pretty sure I tried that with no success... Tried again and that time it worked and I won, yay ^^

Did you both upload the game *and* after that use the submission button on the jam's page?

Anyway, you can indeed try the Discord, otherwise there's also an e-mail contact that was mentioned there: https://itch.io/post/16153491

Or the mouse wheel could be nice to rotate as well. Plus this way you get both directions easily.

Fun concept, but as others have said, the controls are hard, as you basically have limited movements when you try press to E or F. So +1 on the remapping thing ^^

As for browser play, it worked fine for me in Firefox.

Too stressful for me... I'm not much into horror game. I did survive for about a minute though. Would be nice to make it clearer how to escape that eye thing that chases us: just run away? Any particular trick? Only time I managed to escape it was because I was lucky not to run away into a dead end.

Simple but fun. Not sure how to expand it without it getting boring/tedious because grinding games aren't my cup of tea, but as it is it's a really nice and catchy minigame.

Would be nice to add a little win screen once you unlock all upgrades. I "finished" but it didn't feel like it because nothing particular happens then.

Yeah, I've given it some more thoughts and I agree. A tiny fix, and not a new feature but rather the opposite a feature removal ^^ Anyway, I left the original build up too, so people can compare.

I haven't played a city builder game in a while now. I got a bit confused that giving 2 power sources to a building would cause issues (would be nice to have a warning about this before placing the second power source) and I found the UI (on web) a bit hard to read (text too small).

Nice prototype otherwise, as others have said it lacks a progression etc, but for a 1-week jam wow that's a lot of complexity already implemented. And placing buildings in kind of a sandbox mode is fun a bit already :)

Hi,

I saw that the rules say " Can I update my game after submitting? Yes - to fix bugs. No new features." And during the stream, it was said that a change like tuning the HP of a monster would probably be fine, too.

I got a bit of feedback for my game (which is a pipe connecting puzzle), and basically one type of pipe is currently super confusing and got a few people stuck. On top of it, it can be trivially replaced by another type of pipe.

Is it okay to publish an update that just removes that problematic pipe and replaces it with the other type? Or, alternatively, is it okay to fix the behavior of that pipe? Both those options are a trivial change, but I'm not sure it qualifies as "bug fix". It does seem to be on the same level as tuning HP though.

Thank you :) And I assume you probably got tricked by the cross pipe. My bad on this, they are unfinished and a lot more unclear than I had realized in their current state.  I would remove them right now, but I'm not sure it qualifies as a "bug fix" for the jam rules.

Thanks :) I was inspired by my vague memories of a similar game that I played quite a lot at the time on Windows 3.1. I couldn't find any trace of it online though, which was a bit sad.

Yup, I didn't have time to finish these parts properly indeed. The cats were just my placeholder for obstacles, I didn't have time to replace them with more appropriate assets.

As for the connection display, yeah I wanted to use shaders to fill the pipes progressively, but I spent a lot of time trying and didn't manage anything decent enough :/ Also the pipes are only supposed to fill once the exit is reached, however it does sound like a good idea to make them look a bit different as well depending on whether they're connected or not. Maybe make the connected pipes brighter or something.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback :)

Hi, thanks for playing :)

And yes it's the cross pipe that I didn't have time to finish properly: as I put under the game, it's meant to go only straight (like, it can go from left <=> right and top <=> bottom, but not for instance left <=> top). I realize that I should have removed it since it's so unclear, but not sure I'm allowed to edit the game now, even for such a trivial thing.

As for the cats, I lacked time to make proper obstacle tiles so they're basically my placeholder for obstacles. And you're not supposed to click them but you found the Easter egg, congratz :D

Nice game, feels pretty much finished. The only (minor) annoyance I had was for unselecting letters, but tbh I don't see how to improve that either.

Idk if it would be good for mobile as I don't play on my phone, but for browser/desktop it's all good.

Really catchy game. I like how there's no penalty for wrong words, something that's typically an annoyance with word games. And nice upgrade mechanism. Also I won, yay ^^

They said something about that during the closing stream, but I forgot the details. I believe you can try to reach out to the mods on their Discord. Not 100% sure though (and idk where their Discord is, I don't use it).

Well I've never made such a bad game either, but at the same time I've never made such a good game, too. So that's for the riddle 馃憖

I learned a lot though, it was quite different from just following tutorials. I didn't really reach the game state I was aiming for, but at least it's playable. Wasted so much time on shaders, only to just give up on them in the end. That thing is hard.
