Fun albeit slightly confusing game. Some of my settings might have been wrong but the text on the phone call was halfway off screen.

I love the character art and the simple platforming is nice. Dialogue is cute too. She definitely needs more movement tech though, like super mario 64 long jumps, bunny hopping or even just a run button to lessen monotony across the map. Also, the camera is pretty rough sometimes. and there were times where I didn't know if I landed or not cause the camera was covered from all helpful povs. One of the better games of the jam so far.
The game was fun, even though the graphics were pretty rough, the turtle character was appealing. I loved that the shotgun was strapped to his back when he turtled up. I love the turtle up mechanic in general, it's great. If this game had more time, I would make it so that the turtle could freely travel between the levels to get items and things without having to kill all the enemies first.
Game is intriguing, reminds me of code.org or something from elementary school. That being said, it felt more like work than playing a video game, and the music does get a bit repetitive. Also, I think there should be a better way to move the tabs around or something, maybe like when game is running they disappear momentarily.
This game is essentially just a typing challenge, not a bad one, but not a lot going on here. It's a little frustrating because I was getting the commands wrong for capitalizing the letters when the words at the top are capitalized. Also the menus for the game were spanish, so I had to read the description. Not bad for what it is but it's also not very much happening.
Thanks for the feedback. That was one of the things I was a bit worried about was the difficulty, because we didn't have much time to playtest too see which combination of elements would get it just right in terms of balancing. A tip for dealing with the guards is to listen for footsteps or duck as soon as you see a light on the wall.
The game is pretty addicting, but a little feedback:
player and enemy projectiles should be different colors, it's hard to tell if you're being hit by your own or theirs'.
Different enemy types should look more different from each other, maybe different color, different sprites, etc. This allows a player to look at a room and instantly recognize what the danger is.
I'm not really sure how you're supposed to beat the boss, there doesn't seem to be any clear weakness or way to avoid his attacks.
