Hello, I'm a writer looking for smaller projects to do. I'm currently working on my debut novel after working on some short stories, and I wanted to try my hand at different kinds of writing projects.
My main genres are fantasy and science fiction, and I pride myself in emotional, Bioware-inspired characters (Mass Effect/Kotor). It's been my dream to be a narrative writer for a game and I wanted to help programmers and graphic designers by weaving a story out of those elements to make something amazing.
I'm open to volunteer work if provided references for your general direction/tone, but my paid options include research I put into your story. If you want a detective style narrative, I can research crime scene investigation methods down to the time period. If it's sci-fi, I'll look into real-world science to see if it could benefit your game's lore.
I'm also open to exchange writing for one's artistic skills. If you're an artist and need a writer, I'd be happy to help. Maybe in exchange I could have a commission done or a reduced rate if you want to avoid freebies.
Things I've researched include nuclear history, mythology from different parts of the world, and dolphinese.
