Great paranoid yarn. Reminds me of poe and his stories of obsession, or the "the yellow wallpaper". Choice stuff.

Eyyy, fellow mz3d/mv3d dev here. Fun little RPG exorcise. I think you should zoom out the camera more, it's a hard to navigate with the close ups.  Enjoyed it regardless.

Thanks! The design of this game was defiantly inspired by classic rpg maker stuff. Cowchy made some amazing sounds for this, it was a blast putting them front and center.

Fun mix of wario-ware gameplay with point and click horror. Engaging style. The mouse controls for the mini-games was panic-inducing; It's a great pairing with the escape-the-room styled navigation. Good job.

The VHS tape is related to some optional secrets in the Skellet. One of those "think outside the box but it's actually in 'a box'" kind of deals. Thanks for the kind words, I did try to make the camera movements more unsettling as you get deeper into the game.

Yeah, assuming everyone knows the base rpg maker controls is a bit silly. Added the controls to the itch page, thanks for pointing it out, and the kind words.

What style. Awesome x-files styled yuri slice, feels like a adaptation of a great animated series. I could listen to your characters trade barbs for hours. The art for this game is amazing. Everything about it feels right. Good stuff.

Classic resident evil send up? I click. Carrying around a device that's a "dimensional latern" for a meat world is a great idea. Had lots of fun avoiding the enemies and seeing the how you framed the rooms. Nice.

Wonderful! When I realized this was rpg maker instead of renpy, I flipped. Love me some good rpg maker games. Very crisp art, had a great style throughout. Was charmed by the character art, and disgusted at the ending scares- I had to turn away from the screen at several points.
Everything was horrible throughout, so I had to 100% the game immediately to read it all. This willy wonky type fellow is written perfectly for this box-of-chocolates style game. Every piece of deeplore I got made me hungry for more. The gameplay dynamic of going through the toys and restarting works incredibly well. I had to see it all.
Every single thing this game tries to do, it accomplishes with gusto. It even has a ending credits song? Cmonnn. Slam dunk game right here.

Sure. I'll leave a review after I play it.

Aggressive noise filters make me happy. The rest of the game did as well.  This was a fun way to use the old "slenderman photoshop" style of analog horror. I wish you had more dedicated photos, ie things that more than stock resources being used to great effect, but I dug it anyway. Great stuff.

Good start for a horror platformer. Wished the monochromatic feel of the woods and the opening screen was represented more in the rest of the game's art. Keep making games like this, interested to see a more fleshed out version would be like.

Aloha.  Here's our game for this Scream Jam.

Take a look, tell us what you think.

Nice. Loved the art style/perspective choice, was fun walk around in the dark. Great "Reward" for finding all the pieces.

Anything that has heavy dithering in the art-style is in my good graces, but adding the Yume Nikki flavor makes this a must-try. The room designs are fun, and it was a lot of fun to go room to room, see whats what. Good work.

Good slice of rpg maker horror. Enjoyed the quiet style you used for the game, very impressed with how natural the woods looks/feels. The ambiance unnerved me the whole playthrough. Nicely done.

Excellent. I'm a sucker for anything with a tasteful pc98/denpa aesthetic, and you've nailed it here. Very nice that you did visual/audio bits that were actually shown, instead of being solely in the text. Silence from a VN character has never been so palpably heavy. The story creeped me out from the start, and never let up. Loved every bit of it.

That sounds like a issue with your browser.
Try this download link instead, let me know if it works.

It's a regular rpg maker mz export, so I don't know why that would come up. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Fun little bone-based romp. Really just seeing how much gameplay you can wring out of bouncing off of skeletons and throwing bones. Pretty fun.

Excellent pico-8 horror. Loved how little you needed to make every scene transition unnerving, and the story haunting. The "finish the masterpiece" ending is something to be proud of. This is a genuine chunk of gothic horror. Great job.

Fun gameboy romp. Staying committed to the "twitch streamer" bit was funny throughout, and seeing the multitude of ways you can mess up was plenty fun. Worth playing multiple times for the humor alone.

You have the puzzle nearly done, just look for the other two names behind the mannequin, right of the first save point. And keep in mind, it's about placing the two sums next to each other. Let me know if this helps you out. Thanks for playing our game, and the kind words.

Nice demo. Great character art, felt the mood of the apartment fit the story very well. I feel like the game is hampered at the moment by a rough localization, as the main focus of the game seems to be it's story. Especially if you add keyboard controls. Good slice of something that should be expanded upon.

Nicely put together rpg exercise. Liked the soundtrack, the shifting tile-sets, and all the cinematic effects. I guessed the plot very early on, but I still enjoyed going through all the beats. I appreciated how you made the rpg mechanics deeper than the usual stock rpg mv/mz fights.  Good stuff.

Any rpg maker 2003 game gets a upvote from me. I couldn't get far into this demo, but the character/settings instantly hooked me. The art is pitch-perfect for this kind of game. I hope you finish this, would love to play a finished version of this game.

Great cat exorcist game. Wonderful aesthetics. Reminds me of a color game and watch game, except with a hunky dude on the results screen. Nice. Easy to pick up, and instantly fun to see how many cool ricochet shots you can pull off. Very fun, worth playing multiple times.

Nailed the concept in the most important ways. Forcing the player to drag themselves through every inch of a tight cave is a brilliant use of the mouse- You get so much dread just by having the POV bob down, as the player drags themselves forward. Love the soundscape and the aspect ratio closing in on you. Well done.

Excellent "buckshot roulette" take on a classic card game. Immediately unnerved me. Good stuff.

Best 3 card monte gag I've seen in a minute. Great textured feeling with the art. Great cast and soundtrack. Proper spooky stuff. Good job.

Aloha!

I'm a RPG Maker troglodyte, who's been woodshoping 2.5D horror things in my spare time.
Looking to see if anyone is interested in making a game with the sort of stuff I've doing.

Looking for Artists/Designers who can give a project like this a satisfying identity and style.
Any experience with  RPG Maker MZ/MV would also be great.

Hit me up on my Discord if any of this sounds interesting:
