Thank you so much for playing. It’s a shame I couldn’t be there for the livestream (power issues in my town XD), but I’m glad you were able to escape. I think I should have added a clue or something to make it clear that you could already leave the house XD.

Thank you so much for playing. It’s a shame you weren’t able to escape. I’ll work very hard so that when I update the game, it will be clearer where to find the keys, or I’ll add more clues and hints XD.

By the way, I rated your game a while ago. I’ve been reviewing them in the order they were uploaded.

I’m glad you liked it. It’s a shame you weren’t able to escape. Since there was only one main mechanic (taking photos), I thought it would be clear that you had to take a picture of the code. Those are mistakes I need to fix later, since the idea is for everyone to be able to escape and reach the good ending.

And thank you for the comment about the voices. Honestly, that was what worried me the most, since my English isn’t very good.

I loved the coffee and dreams part XD. Overall, it was very well done, both visually and in terms of gameplay.

For your first game, it’s really good. I’d only recommend adjusting the colliders on the objects, since many times I bumped into them without actually touching them. Other than that, you’re doing very well.

It’s actually the second one I’m going to play today, since I’m playing them in the order they were uploaded

I’m almost halfway through the games, and I have to say there are several games that surprised me quite a lot.

Interesting. I liked the PlayStation 1–style aesthetic and being able to drive. However, I’d recommend adding colliders along the sides of the road so the vehicle can’t leave the map. Also, when arriving at the restaurant, if you don’t stop in the exact spot, the game bugs out and sends the car flying.

As for the final map, I’d suggest not using the assets exactly as they are—modify them a bit or remove unnecessary objects. I’d also recommend adding the option to skip the intro. Even though it was very good and I liked it (it reminded me of old movies), having to watch it every time you start again gets a bit tiring.

It reminded me a lot of old-school games, like 8-bit classics. The art style was very eye-catching, and the game itself was entertaining. I might increase the difficulty a bit by making it necessary to catch the enemy performing certain actions in order to fill multiple evidence bars, but overall, a very good game.

It gave me some really good scares. The enemy might be a little overpowered though—I was in the bar, stepped outside, and got killed XD. It was really entertaining, honestly. It almost gave me mini heart attacks—you never know where it’s going to be.

I have to tell you, it’s the first time I’ve managed to get the good ending on my first try XD. I’m not sure if it was because of the terrain or what, but the enemy passed right next to me and then got stuck running in one spot. Later it detected me again. I’m not sure if it’s due to the AI navigation or the way the enemy tracks the player’s position.

Very good game, I liked both the exploration and the enemy.

Thank you so much, I’m really glad you found it terrifying. The truth is that when you develop your own games, playing them yourself just doesn’t feel the same anymore, so that was one of my biggest concerns—well, that and the dialogue XD

Thank you so much for the feedback. Once the Game Jam is over, I’m going to fix all those issues. And about the ending, it’s a shame you couldn’t get out of the house. I thought the graffiti saying “Besem..” would make it clear that the key was in the basement, but I’m glad you liked it.

That’s great to hear. I was nervous that what it said wouldn’t be understood and that the idea of the game wouldn’t be clear. I’m glad you liked the game.

Thank you so much for playing, I’m glad you liked it.

Oh, that’s a shame. I should have been more precise with the location of the last key to leave the house. I thought the graffiti saying “Baseme...” would make it clear that it was in the basement.

I’m glad you liked it. I’ll keep improving it once the Game jam is over and leave it in my portfolio, so all feedback helps me a lot.

Thank you so much for playing. Yeah, I’m going to adjust the speed XD, but I’m glad it felt intense to you. In the end, after playing it so much while testing, I started to feel nothing XD

Unfortunately, I couldn’t get past the door codes. However, I later saw that you had uploaded gameplay, and even though I did the same thing as in the video, I still couldn’t move the books.

Hahaha, that guy must have had a ton of energy drinks—he looks like Sonic hahaha.

I feel like I played a creepypasta. It was incredible—I loved it, and that ending… wow. And the way it kind of broke the fourth wall was 10/10.

Interesting, I hadn’t seen it that way. Maybe after doing so many tests, I ended up leaving it at a faster speed than normal so I could move through the map quickly and check that everything was working. I’ll try to fix that in the future, but I’m glad it’s that and not just “it’s bad” or something like that hahaha.

Another game that gave me a really good scare hahaha. You have to learn the enemy’s movements very well so you don’t get caught, and the fact that the keys change location forces you to keep moving around the house. The only issue is that sometimes picking them up becomes difficult or doesn’t register properly, but it also helps create that feeling of fear and frustration.

I have more questions than answers XD

And I really wanted to eat the pizza.

I’m curious about how the games will be evaluated—whether all of them will be played or if the results will be based on community ratings. I’m asking because, so far, only a few games have been rated, and only a small number have more than 8 ratings. Even though it’s only the second day, it seems to me that relying on community ratings could be unfavorable for games that aren’t being heavily promoted.

As for me, I’ll keep reviewing every game. I still have 55 out of 73 left, so at least 18 games have already been rated on my side. In my case, I’m reviewing them in order of submission.

It was tough at first hahaha, I used up all the batteries and the lighter in my first run. Then I understood everything, and it became really entertaining. I liked it.

I loved it on an artistic level. However, even though the story was very good, I feel it was lacking a bit in terms of gameplay. In the future, you could implement minigames or puzzles.

I have to tell you, you’re the first videogame that has actually managed to scare me hahaha, congratulations. I think having limitations creates a lot of fear—very well done.

A very interesting game concept. Although I couldn’t reach the end, it’s clear you did a great job on it in these 14 days.

I couldn’t move from the house, I could only turn the camera on and off. If you tell me how I’m supposed to play, I’ll give it another try.

Thank you very much, I was actually thinking about improving it in the future for my portfolio.

After hours of playing, I managed to complete 14 games today. I’ll need to plan my time well to be able to finish them all in these 9 days.

Voting progress for the GUNSCREEN HORROR JAM

I can’t stop thinking: What did I just play? XD

I’ll just say it’s an interesting story that got more than a few weird laughs out of me hahaha.

I loved that 2.5D style, and I almost couldn’t find what the ghost was asking me for hahaha. The scene transitions were very well done too. Interesting game overall— with more time and development, I think it could become something really impressive.

A very interesting premise, although it took me about four runs to figure out how to escape. Still, it’s entertaining. The only thing is that it isn’t very scary, but it is fun.

The note puzzles were interesting, although I died the first time because I kept wandering around at the beginning hahaha.

And about the cover, I honestly don’t think it looks that much like AI-generated. It feels more like the person who made it doesn’t have full control over things like perspective—for example, the window and wall perspective are very uneven. They probably have a lot more experience drawing human figures than backgrounds. From my personal point of view, it doesn’t look like AI.
