yeah its not to bad honestly i understand the moderation aspect not wanting to deal with all that but its not to often you get bad apples just have to watch out for scam messages or people being jerks , just from my experience of doing game jams for years most of them have discords and helps with building that community without the discord its hard for people to even want to check out each others projects i find

sometimes we have to try new things but this central hub is making the jams have even less of a community aspect now , it makes it less accessible removing the community tabs from the jams and having them go to a central hub to post looking for a team or anything in general no one seems to be using it since you implemented it and now less people are communicating in general with these jams , a discord takes few minutes to set up and makes it more accessible for most and helps build the community aspect
pretty interesting , i beat it in about a minute but it was a bit unclear what i was supposed to do , the one thing in the settings option i was not sure what the + , ++ , +++ was for but was cool you can change the control scheme and when the game would freeze and zoom in on the player for 20 seconds or so saying settings updated was not sure what it was doing but guess thats part of the intentional bugs i also was unsure if the player had any attacks for the enemies so i just tried to dodge everything haha good job for a first game keep at it every project is a stepping stone to the next
