congrats on winning the 1 bit jam !!!

(1 edit)

thanks for playing , that makes sense i am not the best typer so i ended up balancing it to my skill level , it does get faster and harder every wave but probably not fast enough for a skilled typer. i tried to make it in a way it can help people get better at speed typing so it gets harder and harder as the waves go on

this is very intense visually , not sure how you made it wish the controls were a bit better though i had to quit at a certain level had no clue how to beat that level also can be a bit hard on the eyes after i stopped playing was still seeing spinning shapes lol

thanks for playing

was a tough one but got through , yeah my only issues is the crouching and jumping on ladders can be a bit finnicky and did not know could pass through enemies by shooting them / was not sure how to do the boss fight at first more of player accessibility things  . really like the visuals for the death screen and the checkpoint system , wish the gun recharge was a bit faster . would be interesting fleshed out with some more abilities metroidvania style  great job on the game for few days

i was playing with a controller i think the issue i was having was with jumping on ladders was a bit finnicky , i tried to replay it and this is the area that has me quit the game . not quite sure how to get over this enemy keep dying trying to jump over it

you always make great art , some good mechanics but i found the game a bit difficult with the one hit kill and some of the placements mixed with the controls sometimes not being spot on but overall great job for a weekend,  this game does have a ton of potential post jam and reminds me of a game in the ufo 50 collection

was a feature so it was a bit less punishing with multiple words on screen . glad you saw some fun in it pretty much my focus was making a fun typing game because it is a somewhat dying genre

oh dang way better typer then me tripled my score lol glad you liked it

thanks fellow dave haha

thanks for playing

very interesting / unique narrative focused game subverted my expectations with some good art set pieces  . the only downside for me was i do not think that techno style song fit the experience to well other then that that it was a pretty cool jam game . a one of one experience

one of the best suika like games i have played even though i have not played alot , really like how all the mechanics and sounds work together , if i had any nitpick was maybe having some different faces for the different types because of the 1 bit it was a bit hard to figure out some of the proper sizes . few times i thought the gears were the same size for fusing together they were not lol really good though 9.5 / 10  .  will rate it once the jam is over

i will find a different jam , the one thing i hate about small jams is when there is a required theme but the host is not around when the jam starts to tell others what the theme is makes me lose all motivation for that jam , it makes us wait around to start when time is of the essence for a 3 day jam and some of us plan are time around the starting time of jams , time is limited for us all .

next time you host a jam if there is a theme try try to announce it when the jam starts or a bit before if you know you will not be around when it starts

the problem with this is you pretty much just want a grunt worker for free to make what you want made / this is a pretty big scope project and the programmer would pretty much just be making what you want made instead of what they want made . maybe you should learn programming to make this dream game or turn it into a trpg or use a codeless engine and scale it back a ton so it is feasible for you to make , you want to turn it into revshare if someone can come in make this a feasible project but you should just start making things instead of having the mindset you will make money off your first project

simple game idea but executed really well , fits the theme perfectly , i like the art style . i also like that it saves your highscore my record was 31 . never played a game like this but enjoyed it and it has that " 1 more run " motivation which is good . this game probably helps with the mind also making you skim through the letters and numbers at a fast rate , the only thing that is a bit tricky is with this text font  zeros and the alphabet O look pretty similar

overall really good unique game nice job keep slaying it !!!

this game is pretty solid probably the most technical in the jam having multiplayer and singleplayer modes as a rts , i do not play rts often so i got my but kicked by the computer ai but it suprised me with  there tactics of retreating and coming back even though you said it was garbage tier AI lol give yourself some credit !!!!. good job on the game

thanks for playing , after awhile i was having a hard time with the level design so i said 16 levels is the cutoff point haha

just a warning for jackie if she plays it on stream , this game contains copyrighted music ( balatro music ) right away / breaks the rules of using assets you do not have the rights to use . in the future use copyright free music if you do not make music because if someone plays this on youtube or twitch they can get a copyright strike / dmca takedown

after reading the jam page and watching the video i am having a hard time understanding what exactly you want from the jammers

simple premise but really well done mechanically , i do not make it on the leaderboard but i enjoy the game quite a bit with the passing mechanic playing keep away , i think the one thing i would of liked to see was the power bars for everyone constantly to help with the decision making of who to pass to when for the power shots but still a great game , keep slaying it !!!

fun game with a good gameplay loop also liked the main character , not really a fan of the control scheme using arrow keys and z,x,v was a bit awkward but that could be due to me being left handed and being used to wasd for 2d action games . still a great game though good job

good job on this one , probably the most trippy game of the jam, nails the vibes of those  "euro jank" style games like cruelty squad with the harsh visual style . i found the game a little hard but still reasonable but some of that is do to the visual style with the readability of seeing the grass because it can blend into the normal ground being almost the same color . i liked the take on the theme making it a sort of golf soccer game and really liked the design of the creature above the goal post and the weird uncanney face in the dialogue box . nice job on this one

1 of the best ones i played so far , superb job all around . love the upgrade mechanics / the visual design and sound design , no negatives from me . excellent job on making this game . 5 stars all around

very wacky game with the ragdoll physics , pretty fun to just mess around with the controls . i sort of wish the controls were flipped around though where it would be  A for forward and D for back like standard 2d sidescroller games since this game is in sidescroller camera view so it takes a bit of getting used to using w for forward and s for back but this is a cool take on theme , good job on the game

very cool concept , i feel like a game like this would be best suited for vr but it is solid for what you did in few days

its a shame the intro could not work in the webgl version , might be best to add it to a desktop version after the jam , impressive intro and probably the only intro cutscene out of all the entries . i like the concept of fighting demonic angels . it is a very unique game concept with the soccer theme and has some interesting mechanics , those angels sure were kicking my butt  with those god rays haha
