Did you have difficulty specifically with the cow as well? cuz there have been a handfull of people complaining about the cow specifically even though the hit detections in the exact same, I have been trying to figure out exactly what's happening

Very fun! the grapple mechanic is real fun to play around with, it's great smacking them around.
What do feel like it's missing is a little bit of background music that would've made the whole thing come together!
also I think I had a bug, after dying I pressed ''seek revenge'' cuz I assumed that was the try again button and the health and progress bars dissapeared, the functionality was still there just the visuals were missing.

Moving around was a lot of fun but it was not fully clear to me what exactly I was supposed to do, am I supposed to just bonk into the others or what does the chainwhip do exactly?
Rpm as a healthbar is clever too, I hope you'll continue to work on this one cuz I do think there's a lot of fun to be had here despite the issues you seem to have ran into during production.

Alright so, upon loading this game made my pc chug a little at first but it did run fine after giving it a second.
It also took me a little until I realised what I was actually supposed to be doing but after the gameplay loop is pretty solid I think! Maybe a little tweaking to make the player slightly more responsive would be good though
This game was great! Fishing minigame the full game! The artwork was absolutely stellar too!
My only gripe is that I found it pretty difficult to actually reel in the fish. I was a bit of a challenge spinning that thingy (whatever it's called) smoothly enough to be able to get fish from far away with any consistency
Well this game looks pretty amazing! My only gripe with it is that I wished there was a little more interactivity during the combat because it felt more like I was watching a fight happen rather than that I was the one doing it but I also understand that this would slow the overall game down immensely.
Overall, great game! very fun
yeah I've had a few people now say they had difficulties with the timing of the sword hits which is something I truly didn't expect tbh, though I think that it would be agains the nature of the jam to make the window bigger rn :P
and when it comes to the audio mixing: I agree it's messy, the whole idea to add cutscenes was super last minute so I just threw it together best I could in a short time. It works but it's far from ideal imo
