As one can see from the error message, what one actually should do is as following:

chmod  +x path_CrimsonHigh/lib/py2-linux-x86_64/CrimsonHigh

The meaning is "give file path_CrimsonHigh/lib/py2-linux-x86_64/CrimsonHigh permission to be an executable one"

Moreover, if for any bloody reason one has to use sudo and therefore root password for this, that means that something is bloody wrong with the system configuration itself.

The new file fixes the bug.

Ghm, it looks like there was one more condition to trigger the crash. You need to scroll back to previous scene at least one time before trying to click the phone with enabled self-voicing.

Bug report.

If self-voicing is enabled and one tries to click the phone, the following exception happens:

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

Ghm, but what about fixing the spelling? Right now we have (for example), "behaviour" in one scene and "behavior" in other.

While there are a few characters that may speak  with British spelling (Takumi, Morrigan, may be Ori), Ren definitely should speak/think with American one.

And no, I do NOT suggest to have different spelling for different characters- just keep it the same for all texts.

Well, logically speaking there are no reason to not check all messages if you can. However, as I know that sometimes order matters in CH, I've played different combinations, including the total ignore.

By the way, again, logically speaking, Touka should return to the class after the texting with Ren. Thus girls shouldn't be able to text or, at least, make selfie if Ren text with her at first. But, I suppose, that makes this episode unreasonable complicated.

Hello Vertigo!

I'd like to report possible bug? in 0.34.

1)Is it correct that one can skip all the texting? The option "That's all" is available from the very beginning.

2)Even if Ren didn't text with Okami about the reward, he still checks out the hotel restaurant and invites her there during the waiting for Kuro & backup. I think this is quite strange.

Damn it! You are right about Mana)) There are only two, but different light conditions make the dragon's one looks like two different.

About the 5-th run... Well, taking your cruelty and craftiness into account, I am pretty sure that in some moment of future there will be 6-th and 7-th.

On completely unrelated note, some bug-report like things:

  1. The more I play, the more I am annoyed by "there's" in plural context, i.e. instead of  "there are" or "there were". I am quite surprised with that, as the median level of English in CH is extremely high.
  2. When Miko and MC hug after his first proper visit to Mariko, the emblem of class C suddenly appear at MC jacket (attached). Is it a bug or an easter egg ?
  3. Strictly speaking this is not a bug, but we  see Mana in 3 different outfits (first meet with MC, after the fight in the school,  and first MC's visit as guest) before she  go shopping with dragon-lady.

Yes, I've started from the very beginning again (5th time, I guess), as it is impossible to hunt all hamsters and collect full image gallery during the single run )) Damn it!!!

Your explanation perfectly match my understanding of their relationship. However, that is exactly why I've asked the question about her IRL prototype. Speaking directly, I have the doubts that such human does exist.

At the same time, I have too good self-control to be distracted by more trivial thoughts about VN's character. And "years of experience" to boot. Thus, I repeat myself and others here, that CH is the novel  at first, visual at second, and adult at third place only. And it is second to none!

After successful catching of the all hamsters (thanks for the tip), I am confused.

Was  the Yui's personality inspired by some real person  ? I mean that the main job of familiar is to support the partner and that, in turns, means at least some  ability to stop the  said partner when necessary. However the shown level of her submissiveness  raises quite an amount of doubts  in her abilities in this sense for me.

Damn it! Vertigo, what has you done?! ))) I have more than enough things to care IRL, but I am thinking about her personality instead....

Damn it! )))))

Thus the cruel play, huh. ))

I've gone with yes, but you are right with second assumption - massage is good and all, but hamsters are main priority now ))

BTW, it looks like a minor bug, but still. During the checking phone messages in the  Dragon-lady's guest room, one can check the messages from valley girl infinitely. Is it a bug or one more cruel play from you?)

Hey, don't be Spaßverderber and suggest the reading of the walkthrough! )) If I read that will not be the hunt but a lazy stroll.

About Japan and "school", well with some stretching you can say that story about supernatural school girls is pseudo-Japanese one, but only for the ones who know about the Japanese culture by anime, manga and that ilk.

And now I am starting to think about list of completely non-Japanese things ...  no, you don't want to read it)

Anyway, Crimson High is really awesome , so don't take this tediousness from evil me seriously.

The main issue with another run is that I, obviously, don't remember the exact choices I've made before and, being impressed by this issue with Yui I am not sure that I'll be able to make proper choices to get the full collection of hamsters this time. ))

The valley girls/guys are the kin I dislike the most and try to avoid to deal with at any costs IRL, you see. While I admit that she has her role and her character is rather suitable to this role, I can't help but distaste.

I did  followed your sentence. And it gives me opportunity to be curious:  what were/are your reasons to settle them in Japan? I mean I do know that they are in Japan from story, but I don't feel any Japanese vibe from it at all.

Ghm... well, interesting, I have a feeling that I've taken them, but if you say so, I should assume that that had been during the other run. Not like I am really against the full replay )  Looks like I should properly delete all game data and restart hamster hunting too.

About Jun ... well, she is not my favorite one, but she is tolerable one. How should I say...   I still have some  (naive) hopes for her. I mean if some    reasonable and kind person with virtue of patience and talent for teaching (so definitely not me) spent a few years to hammer the common sense and the way to keep herself together into her, she'll have a chance for good life. Otherwise ... Behavioural disorders are quite shitty thing for person itself in the first place.

However, the valley girl is incurable diagnosis if you take what I mean.

Speaking about "voices" - any plans to use more Irish  (Scotts ?) for Morrigan and Ori? It is quite weird that  Gan Ceann speaks the Queens's English, isn't it ?

Anyway, I am on my way to full replay now))

Vertigo, you are bloody awesome genius!

While there are characters I personally dislike (no, not Jun, btw), I totally immersed in the story line.  Damn it, instead of making one more VN to click-and-relax without using brain and perception, the certain extremely cruel personage did made it more interesting and readable than most of modern WNs. The pun is accidental just ignore it).

The small things like the mimics of  characters during the dialogs... The clues and foreshadows.... Nagisa's "riddles", different speaking styles for different persons, when you, as far as I understand, are not native English speaker...

However  ....

I really, really, REALLY, adverse to ask this, but. Can it be that appearing of 71st hamster (the one I expect between the one in store room and one during tea time with Uraha) depends on choices made before meeting with Emica?

I had re-played the last update (27.1) more than 50 times for now (few times for each choice option), but still this hamster is the only one of 72 that I've not caught yet, damn it!

Hello  XiongMao

I'd like to report a bug about  fireshield spell. The morning after the battle with
the use of fireshield the fire resistance become  -25 (see attached). As far as I can test it only happens if you use this spell - learning only doesn't provide such effect. However, if you use spell two times,  your morning  after fire resistance become -50 and so on.

This happens both in 0.21 and 0.20.
